Rick seems to be growing up in a hurry. Jacob Young is the 18 year old (!) who will take over after Steve Hartman. I for one cannot believe they are aging Rick so quickly and trying to make us believe that Brooke is his mother. Brooke is supposedly in her early thirties but was more than 25 when she had Rick... and if he's 18, that would make her ... uhm... 43:ish something - right? Well I have a hard time swallowing this..

Apart from that. Jacob Young seems like a really goodlooking guy and reminds alot of Steve Hartman so the choice in itself isn't too bad I think. Once I get to see him I'll tell you more about what I think. Until then - enjoy this image will you? It certainly looks like young Rick will have some kind of intimate encounters with Amber...

Bridget too seems to be growing up in a hurry. Landry Allbright has been replaced by Agnes Bruckner and has grown a few years... a bit hard to integrate into the history of the show I think. It seems they aren't trying to keep the continuety of the show at all intact. Brooke should be in her 40's to be able to have Rick become 18. And Bridget... how old is she supposed to be? 12??. It seems to me it was only a couple of years since Rick was a toddler roaming the show and Bridget was born in Big Bear... oh yeah. It WAS only a couple of years ago... oh well...

Apart from that. Jacob Young and Agnes Bruckner are physically very much alike Steven Hartman and Landry Allbright which will probably make the transition a bit easier.

But the hardest part though will be adjusting to CJ portrayed by Mick Cain, who seems to be growing to be much less younger than his sister than he started out *grin*, CJ will be harder to adjust to because he loooks a bit different

What do these "kids" need a babysitter for. Rick looks old enough to have kids of his own...

The rumor mill says that Amber will become the New Brooke! Personally I find this ridiculous. A more annoying character than Amber you really have to look for. The only thing they have in common is blond hair...
