Several hours passed and Melissa, being a good obedient bard, stayed right where the Goddess had sent her. Until....there was always an until with Melissa....the hunger set in and well, she just couldn't stand it any more. So she headed towards Cirra.
GC: (materializes) (looks around) (muttering) where the Tartarus is she? When the Tartarus is she for that matter? Gods this is going to be worse than the Oddity Twin separation incident. I'll never hear the end of it. You lost me in the time of Ancient Gods...(continues to mutter) (vanishes)
GC: (materializes) (mock anger) (always best to start on the offensive) There you are! Where the Tartarus did you go?!
MM: (looks up) Goddess! You're alive. (leaps to her feet and does flying tackle into Callisto)
GC: (stumbling backwards) What the! (falls) *Thud*
MM: (still embracing Callisto)(oblivious) Oh Goddess I thought you were dead.
GC: Why would I be....get off of me. (pushes the bard away) (sits up) (looks around) (whispers) Cirra.
MM: (tears streaming down face) (trembling) I...I...I'm sorry Goddess. I didn't know. How could I have possibly known? I mean, she doesn't look a thing like Lucy Lawless.
GC: What are you babbling about bard? (grabs a hand full of soot) (voice cracks) Still warm. (grits her teeth) Come on, we're going after her.
