A biography
With a new feature film under his belt and a role on one of televisions most
popular prime time shows, the charismatic and talented Andrew Levitas is
poised to become one of Hollywood’s hottest young stars.
This season, the New York city native brings his finely honed acting skills
to the role of Cameron Wolcott, the high-school heart throb who finds
himself the target of co-star Lacey Chabert’s affection, on the highly
acclaimed series Party of Five.
Originally intending to pursue a career in business, Andrew is genuinely
surprised at the direction that his professional life has taken. "I acted in
high school because I enjoyed it and it allowed me to meet people I
otherwise would have never met. I enjoyed it, but I never thought it would
be something I’d be allowed to do."
Discovered while attending New York University as a Business Major, Andrew
landed a role on the popular daytime series As The World Turns, which
subsequently led to a role on Guiding Light. It didn’t take long before
Andrew’s talent in front of the camera caught the eye of producers in Los
Angeles, who persuaded Andrew to relocate to the West Coast. Putting his
schoolwork on hold, Andrew made the move to Hollywood and within a short
period of time, was cast in a recurring role on the hit CBS series The
Nanny.
Andrew will next appear on the big screen in the independent feature film
Psycho Beach Party, in which he co-stars with Thomas Gibson and Nicholas
Brendan. The film, based on the long running Off-Broadway play, is a
hilarious blend of two vastly different Hollywood movie genres – sunny
innocent `60’s Annette and Frankie beach party romps and moody psychological
suspense thrillers.
An avid outdoors man, when not busy at work, Andrew can be found indulging
his passion for tennis, skiing and mountain biking.

Enjoying his work and looking forward to the future, Andrew believes the sky
is the limit.
