  1. Becoming, part 2--Without a doubt, the single best hour of television I have ever viewed.
  2. Innocence--The turning point in the Buffy universe
  3. Halloween--The funniest, most exciting episode of them all
  4. Lie to Me--Perhaps the best all-around episode, vital for laying the groundwork for the season
  5. Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered--almost as funny as Halloween, plus, it's all about Cordelia.
  6. School Hard--The episode that got me hooked.  Spike Rocks.
  7. Becoming, part 1--full of excitement and tension that easily builds over the week wait until part 2
  8. Passion--the death of Jenny Calendar highlights a dramatic, charged episode
  9. Ted--despite a campy ending, this ep gives a little of everything.  And actually ends happily.
  10. Prophesy Girl--The season one finale gives some stirring moments leading to Buffy's death and resuscitation.
