George played Sgt. Max Greevey during the first season of Law & Order. He then left the show. I have to say that if you know the back story (even just the knowledge that he left before the start of the second season) it really puts the second season opener in persepective. His character gets killed... in the first minutes of the show... at night... on a rainy day... outside... a LONGGGGGG way away from the camera... while wearing bulky rain gear... and facing away from the camera.
Dzundza is now appearing on the NBC sitcom "Jesse", in which he plays Christina Applegate's father.
