So, you missed a few episodes, or you really didn't understand the season. This is the place where I'll tell you what the goal or the point of the Season was.(to the best of my ability). So I hope you aggree with my thoughts.
Season one
I think the main point and goal of season one, was to open your imagination. By showing you worlds that were different from ours, but not too far fetched.
Season two
Season two was specificly to specify the trouble of getting home. This also took place in season one, but in season two i think the topic came up more often.
Season three
Season three was very orientated with Prof. Arturo's death. During the opening episodes, we were told that he had a desease that wasn't curable. So we knew he was going to die, but when, we didn't know. When he did die, however, Quinn decided to try haredr to get the group home. This was brought on my Arturo's last words, which can be heard on the Sound page.
Season four
Season four is full fo goals for the sliders. With the constant goal to get home, they also had multiple goal. Once Quinn learned that he had a brother, the main goal was to find him. Once Quinn had found Colin (For those who haven't been watching the fourth episodes, that's Quinn's brother), the main goal was to get to the home world of Quinn and Colin. I think that also one of Quinn's personal goals is to find Wade.
