Below is the listing in the American TV Guide dated November 17-23, 1979. The TV movie was Letters from Frank and it premiered on November 22, 1979 at 8 PM on CBS. It was the very first American TV movie that Michael J. Fox ever appeared in. He was 18 years old at the time.
Here is an exerpt from the Fall Preview edition of the American TV Guide dated September 11-17, 1982. Family Ties was going to premiere that fall...who knew that it would stick around for seven long and glorious years and that Michael would succeed so greatly at playing a character four years younger than himself!
