UK To Go Loco For Ricky

Having conquered the States, the UK looks like being next to fall for Ricky Martin's charms. The single 'Livin' La Vida Loca' might not be released until 5th July, but already he's confirmed several television appearances.

Ricky Rules In The States

Ricky Martin fever continues to grip America as his 'Livin' La Vida Loca' single goes platinum and is being regarded as a major breakthrough for Latin music.

According to the US census, by the year 2005, the Latin audience will be America's dominant culture and its effect musically will be comparable to hip hop in the '80s.

Meanwhile, Ricky recently performed on the World Music Awards on 30th April and alongside Sting, Elton John, Billy Joel, Don Henley, Sandra Bernhard, Tony Bennett and Charles Aznavour at the Rainforest Concert in Carnegie Hall on April 17.
