RICKY MARTIN ON TOUR 2000/ALBUM NEWS: Ricky is currently on the US leg of the Worldwide Livin' La Vida Loca Tour 1999/2000. Between the European and US tour Ricky had a few days of which he used to work on the new album which is scheduled for release in January 2000. The album will feature 5 Spanish songs, one of which apparently will be ASK FOR MORE, currently used as the Pepsi Commercial song and also being played before Ricky goes on stage at his concerts

NEW YORK, June 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Giorgio Armani is proud to announce again that his Emporio Armani Fragrances are co-sponsoring Ricky Martin's US Tour, "Livin' La Vida Loca," which kicks-off tonight in Ft. Lauderdale at the National Car Rental Center and continues through the end of July. Giorgio Armani has also created the entire wardrobe for Ricky and for his production, which includes the band, dancers and crew.
Carlos Santana, Ricky Martin, Montell Jordan, and Chaka Khan have agreed to participate in an album to promote racial harmony. The effort will be coordinated by the Oneness Project, a non-profit organization started by Grammy-winning producer KC Porter, event coordinator Faith Holmes, and music industry veteran Dennis Stafford.

Ricky has become the first ever male person to appear on Marie Claire magazine cover. The new (UK) issue is out now and features some Latin specials plus a three-page spread on Ricky and the Brazilian model Fernanda.
