Lorna and Matt smile at Hayley's voice. Felicia takes Hayley's other hand.

FELICIA
You gave us quite a scare, young lady.

HAYLEY
(with a weak smile)
Sorry. I'll try not to do it again.

FELICIA
Now that you've had a nice nap, how are you feeling?

HAYLEY
I'm sore. And I'm still really tired.

LORNA
Well, that's to be expected, sweetie, You've been through a lot.

Hayley looks down the length of her body, letting her hands rest on her stomach.

LORNA (cont'd)
Do you remember...Tito? Coming in here?

HAYLEY
(nodding)
We...it's a boy, right?

LORNA
A beautiful baby boy. He's perfect, Hayley.

HAYLEY
You've seen him?

LORNA
For a few minutes.

HAYLEY
Have Gary and Josie seen him? Have they held him?

FELICIA
They've seen him in the nursery. But they haven't held him.

HAYLEY
I want them to hold him. He should know them immediately.

LORNA
You're still positive that this is what you want?

HAYLEY
(emphatically)
Positive.

She stares defiantly at Lorna and Felicia.
