Buffy: A big fight, Angel got the pointy end of the sword, Acathla sucked him into Hell instead of the world. That's about the it.

We open to a shot of the school. The Scooby gang, since they are seniors, meet Buffy off campus for lunch which she made since she is not able to go back to school. She and her mother have an appointment with Synder the next day. As the Scooby gang is talking, enter Scott Hope. Willow informs Buffy that he's liked her since last year but Buffy still had that whole Angel thing happening. He passes and Buffy gives him her little "slutty half smile." Now, it's hours later. Evidently the two guys sitting in a limo are thirsty in more ways than one. They stop at the local happy burger and order a diet soda. Ok, so maybe just one of them is thirsty. The other guy talks about killing the Slayer. The first guy, with drink in one hand, and the cashier boy in the other, has them drive off.

Buffy has a dream where her claddaugh ring makes Angel's hand and chest bleed (ew) and he seems mad about the whole sending-him-to-hell thing and he tells Buffy to go there. Buffy wakes up. It's time to go see Principal Snyder. Synder is his usual trolly self and tells Buffy she can only come back on 3 conditions. Ex: Passing make up exams. He welcomes her back and is made fun of my the Summers girls. Buffy and Willow go see Giles. He asks her about sending Angel to hell so he can do an Acathla binding spell and she vaguely answers. Next scene: The Bronze. Darling Violetta playing. Oz and Willow kissing. Buffy passing English make-up exam. All is right with the world. Scott comes up, asks for a dance, is politely turned down, and he very cutely tells her where he'll be in case she changes her mind. Xander and Cordy come by, Cordy complaining about a slut-o-rama and her Disco Dave on the dance floor. Buffy knows a vampire when she sees it, and she leaves to kick some undead booty. However, it's being taken care of by slut girl, evidently a new slayer.

Quick Commentary: How many times do we have to watch Angel get sucked into Hell? Not that it doesn't give me a happy, but there is too much of a good thing.

They go into the Bronze and listen to Faith tell some naked-slaying stories, which Xander is thoroughly enjoying. Faith asks Buffy about her toughest kill and we get another flash back of Angel being sucked into hell. Guessing its the next day, Faith and Buffy go to see Giles. Faith, Xander, and Willow leave. Giles asks Buffy for more Acathla info. She vaguely answers him again. Next, we see the black vampire from the beginning, Mr. Trick, and Mr. ugly mystery guy. They talk of wanting the Slayer, but the Slayer they want is Faith. The pizza guy arrives and it's a blood-sucking feast. Its feeding time at Buffy's too, where Faith and the Summer girls are eating dinner. Faith and Buffy go patrolling. They start to have a fight when some vamps show up. Whopping ensues. They defeat the bad guys for now, no thanks to Faith who goes psycho for a sec. One vamp mentions his master, Kakistos.

Buffy is upset with Faith for not helping much. Buffy goes to Giles about it. When she goes to confront Faith, she runs into Scoot. He makes his last ditch effort, which Buffy accepts.He gives her a claddaugh ring for friendship and she freaks. Scott gets the message. Giles comes up and tells her Faith's watcher is dead. Later that night Buffy confronts Faith in her apartment about Kakistos and her watcher. A knock at the door. It's Kakistos and his entourage. Big fights all around the town, ending when Faith stakes Kakistos. Trick leaves Kakistos to die. The next day at school Giles says Faith is to stay in Sunnydale. Buffy tells the truth about Angel going to hell, and feels better. When she leaves, Giles reveals that the binding spell is fake. Buffy finds Scott and asks him out. He happily says yes. That night Buffy goes to the mansion, leaves her claddaugh ring there and leaves. Blackout, glowing light, shaking, and a naked Angel falls out of the sky onto the ring.
