PART 8

Cameron finally undresses. He brought along a sleeping bag he crawled inside he was having problem sleeping because he knew he had a beautiful woman in the other room. He said to himself he knew he could never have her for what he did in the past she would never forgive him. He also got mad at himself because he was getting too involved with her by being too friendly. He had to stop that and remember that he had a job to do and he was only there because he was working for her and her family. After struggling with his feeling a couple hours later he drifted off to sleep.

Meanwhile, in the early morning Amanda couldn't sleep anymore. She got up and put a house coat around her. She went quietly into where Cameron was sleeping. It was chilly because the fire lit out from the fire place he saw that Cameron sleeping bag was undone and his bare skin was showing. She slowly lifted the sleeping bag over his shoulders she didn't want to wake him but she wanted to make sure he was warn he did move in the sleeping bag but he didn't wake up. After she did that she put more wood in the fire place and lit it herself and there was now a nice warm fire going. Then she went in her room a bit and read for a while till about nine. She got up to make breakfast. Amanda never has to do her own meals usually the maid dose it but she wanted to impress Cameron. Cameron woke up with the smell of breakfast. There was a blanket on the floor and he wraps it around him and sees that Amanda must have put a fire on. He put more wood in the fireplace because it was almost out, that got the fire really going again. Then he went in the kitchen. "Miss Cory" Amanda jumped because she didn't know he was there "you scared of me" she told him "I'm sorry I was just wonder how long breakfast would be because I wanted to take a shower" He said. "Go ahead she told him it will be ready in about a half hour " she told him. "Thanks" says Cameron and Cameron jumps in the shower and starts the shower. Amanda wishes she could join him she fantasizes what he would look like in the shower and seeing the beating water on his body. She must have been in thought for a while because all of a sudden there was Cameron yelling at her trying to get her back to earth and she realized there was smoke in the room and she let the egg cooked too long and the toast was burnt and the smoke alarm went off she was so embarrassed. "I'm sorry Cameron" she says "I just wanted to make this perfect for you" Cameron says "You don't have to impress me I am your chauffeur I am working for you. You are not working for me." He shoes her out of the kitchen and he cleans up the mess. She is really upset with herself. "What a mess. I will never get him as a boyfriend now I am just a spoiled princess and can't do anything right. First I forgot my winter coat and boots and that now I made a mess in the kitchen by burning everything."

While she was in deep thought again there was a knock at the door and she opened it a guy had a package for her she ran inside and open. It was a beautiful coat with this nice pair of warm winter boots with warm gloves and a warm hat. She sighs and says out loud "I wonder who got me this" Cameron comes in "I did. I couldn't let you freeze your little butt off, could I?" "No" she says "but that nice of you" "It my job to look out for you Miss Cory. Now come along I got to make sure you eat something to before you starve. "Okay" she says. And he helps her with her coat and takes her to the car and they drive off.

PART 9

"Where are we going," Amanda asked? "Well Mrs. Cory, we are going to have breakfast at a nice Restaurant it is called The Country Inn." I wish you can call me Amanda I hate being called by my last name." Amanda says. "Sorry Miss Cory I am just doing my job. Cameron said. "Well you were doing your job last night and you called me by my first name." "I shouldn't have but I was caught by your beauty I guess I was just being human but I should have respect you that you are my boss," he says. " I want you to stop this car now" says Amanda. So he does and he sees Amanda get out of the car and she walks near a tree. Cameron runs up to her "Where are you going, Amanda" He yells. She stops and waits till Cameron is next to her. She looks down where he standing and she takes his hands and says, "Cameron last night was special. We shared something special I know that we have feelings for one another I don't know where they go from here but I don't want to stop what we might have. I want to keep on exploring them. Them she reaches and she kisses him. Cameron wants to stop but he smells her perfume and he says to himself she smells so good and he wraps his arms around her and kisses her longing for more. She lifts her head for air and says "OH Cameron. I'm right you want me to and she kisses him more it takes up all his strength but he stops Amanda from kissing him and says "this is wrong Amanda" "You can't deny it Cameron you have feelings for me you already showed me that by you responding to me." "No Amanda" he says "I am attracted to you yes but there nothing else you are a beautiful woman and any man will fall for you." "You're wrong there, Cameron" she says. "I've been kissed by men that only like me for my attraction. They never kiss me as good as you and that showed that much feeling I know" he interrupts her "I don't want to talk about this anymore I am getting hungry," she says "Okay " for now but she will be working more on him later to win his heart and for him to share his feelings she knows deep in her heart that Cameron loves her.

On drive there to the restaurant there where silence between the two. Amanda thought in her head how can she read this man one day he is so sweet and now he is so distant. When they got to the restaurant, Cameron was very polite by opening the car door for her seeing her to seat and making sure she was comfortable. When they sat down and ordered their meal, Amanda says, "You're a difficult man to read Cameron." "What do you mean Amanda?" He says. "Well one minute you can be so sweet them the next you could be so distant." "I thought we weren't going to talk about this anymore. Let's change the subject. Amanda was going to do that but their meal came so they ate in silence. Cameron was happy that the meal came because he was afraid that he was going to share his feelings towards Amanda if she kept talking. In the middle of the meal Amanda asks Cameron how he got the mark on his face. Cameron was surprised she asked and said real fast and nervously "In a fight." "OH my gosh. Where was the fight and with whom?' She sounded surprised and wondering why a person would want to hurt Cameron. Cameron gets up angrily "Why all the questions Amanda can't you just drops this there nothing between us you don't have to worry about what happened in the pass." But she does. She says to herself because she cares for him and nothing can stop that and she says on happier note "Okay tell me about your childhood." With that Cameron just blew it and got very angry and through the dishes on the floor and yelled "Just leave it alone, Amanda Just leave it alone, Amanda. A store manger came up to Cameron angrily and ask him what he was doing? And Cameron Apologies and paid for the food and broken dishes. Amanda was very scared about his actions. Cameron took her by the arm and drove her to the cabin.

When he got in the cabin, he told Amanda he didn't want to hear about this anymore no more questions about his past or any other questions. Amanda notices him shaking she felt he must have had a bad childhood or something he then stormed into his room and slammed the door. Amanda was left crying in the living room.

PART 10

Amanda left in the kitchen crying tried to think of what she did wrong she didn't know what she was going to do next. She knew Cameron was hurting about something about his past but she didn't know what. Maybe she should let him be like he said but she felt that wouldn't help him. She cared for this man and she didn't know why because she only knew him a few days. There was something about him that attracted to her to him but there was this side that she didn't like it was like a dark side. At times she thought she knew Cameron but other times when she thought she didn't know him at all. She thought and she said to herself I will call my good friend Gary, he would know what to do in situations like this. And with this off she went to call Gary.

Meanwhile Cameron in his room had his face in his hands crying. What did he do today he showed Amanda a part of him that he never wanted her to see but why does she keep on asking her questions about his past. He wishes she could just stop because that was one of the worse times of his life and he didn't want to be reminded of that he just wanted to forget and try to get along with his future and not to be hunted with his past. Maybe he should tell her the truth no he says to himself it is too painful. He knew that he had to Tell Amanda that he was sorry about his out burst that he did earlier at the restaurant. He shouldn't have done the things so he opened his door went out in the living room calling her name. He heard her voice she sounded like she was on the phone with someone in her room. So he didn't disturb her, he went and sat on the couch and waited till she came out.

Meanwhile on the phone already talking to Gary she says, "I am so happy that I got hold of you." "I am happy to Amanda I was going to take you out for dinner tomorrow." Gary replied. "I am not home I am at the cabin on vacation." Amanda said. "I know Rachael told me But I already talk to Josi and it is only two hour drive she doesn't mind it. I take a good friend out so do you want to go or do you have plans already? Gary asked "No that good Gary I really need to get out and I really need a friend right now," said Amanda "Everything all right Amanda" Gary asks concerned. "Ya but you know me, I always fall for the wrong guy I think I am doing that right now." Amanda says. "Well we will talk about that over lunch Josi is calling me for lunch now what a doll she has candlelight and everything." Gary says. "Okay Amanda said to have a great meal and see you around noon tomorrow "bye." "Bye" Amanda. Take it easy." Gary says back and they hang up.

Amanda was feeling a bit better and she was smiling when she came out of the room. Cameron walked up to Amanda and says "Good to see you smiling agin" Amanda jumps and says to him I didn't see you. Don't scare me like that." "Sorry he says. I just wanted to apologize to you about this morning I shouldn't off acted that way." "Apology accepted and I am going out with guy friend tomorrow so I don't need you tomorrow for my chauffeur so you got a day that you can do for what you want to do." "Who" says Cameron jealously. "Amanda looks at Cameron doesn't it goes both ways About Employers and Boss I deserve my private life to." Cameron couldn't let her go with that so he takes her in his arms and kisses her hungrily Amanda responds the same way and he looks in Amanda eyes I am attracted to you but things have to change or me before I start a relationship and he leaves Amanda there in deep thought of him and very confuse with his words.

PART 11

Cameron wakes up very early not wanting to know who Amanda is going out with if it was a friend or a guy she really likes so he leaves a note for Amanda to tell her he be out most of the morning and the afternoon and leaves. Amanda wakes up later and hears the house quiet she peeks in Cameron room but he is gone. She wonders where he went off to and she sees his note lying on the table. It says that he will be out most of the day doing some errands. Amanda has breakfast after and gets a quick shower and puts this nice skirt and blouse on and waits for Gary. About twenty minutes there was a knock on the door and Amanda opens it and Gary comes in and gives Amanda a nice hug and tells her it is nice to see you. And she says "It is really good to see you to" "Are you ready" he asks "Yes" says Amanda "lets go." Gary looks around "where your chauffeur?" "I gave him the day off so he went out somewhere" Amanda answers him. Then Amanda locks up the house and away they go. "Where are we going first" Amanda asks? I will take you shopping I know how you like that. So that what they do Amanda bought a couple a nice blouses and skirts and dress pants. Gary had to tease at her "What you doing buying out the whole store?' Amanda laughs, "you know me I buy everything." Gary says "Yep that why you never take a woman shopping because they bankrupt you." Amanda gives him a friendly hit and says "Gary" Gary just laughs. Them he takes Amanda to this little country style restaurant. Amanda starts talking about her chauffeur to Gary. "I think I am falling for my chauffeur" she tells him. Gary looks at Amanda "really" he says. "Well kind off one minute he can be really nice and I think I know him. Then the next he is angrily and I think I don't know him at all." "Amanda, this none of my business but should you be falling for your employee?" "No but I am, I know I shouldn't but there something about him he kind of likes you. "Like me oh that a good one we don't need another person like me. Gary laughs. "You're not bad only when you drink" Amanda says. "Don't remind me" he tells her. "I am sorry I brought it up." "That okay Amanda." Gary says after their meal Gary takes Amanda to this nice view of a waterfall. "It is so nice Amanda says. They look at the view for a while them they left to go home.

Meanwhile back at the cabin Cameron return home he open the door and calls Amanda he gets no answer so he looks around the cabin and realizes that she is not home yet. He sees the dishes haven't been done yet Cameron thinks Amanda must have got up late so he does the dishes up for her and he also notices her nice silk nightgown was on the couch. He picks it up and smells her fragrance on her night gown he sniffs it in and sighs and says he wishes he wasn't her employee and that his life was different because he would make her his girl. Bringing himself back to earth he hears the door opening and hears two voices. He recognized Amanda voice but the man voice he seems to know to but who was it. The door flings open and both Cameron and Gary are surprised to see each other. Cameron looks terrified and Gary speaks up and yells "What are you doing here Cameron?" he looked very mad. Amanda was shocked to hear this out burst from Gary and says "Do you know each other?' Cameron yells at Amanda "Why did you bring him here?" thinking she knows that they are brothers. Gary was after him punching Cameron out he falls hard on the floor bangs his head. He tries to get up but everything is spinning Gary was at him like an animal. Amanda is scared for Cameron life and yells stop. Cameron gets away from his grip and crawls to Amanda for support. Amanda offers her hand to Cameron to help him up. Cameron takes her hand and he tries to pull himself up. He eventually gets up but he is still very dizzy and the room was spinning. Gary pulls out his gun and says "Cameron gets away from Amanda I will shoot." Amanda yells at Gary as says "No Gary" But Gary doesn't listen and he says to Cameron "This is for dad" he shoots Amanda yells no and Cameron tries to get out range from the shot but he is so dizzy he can't and he is hit in the back and Cameron slowly falls to the ground slowly. Amanda watches very terrifying and says "No," then he looks at Gary and says too angrily "What did you do?" Gary drops the gun and moves backward and says "I am like them I am just like them" and he runs out of the front door. Amanda was going to go after him but she couldn't. Cameron was hurt badly. She listens to his pulse it was very dim he needs help or he will die. He leaves his side for moment and calls 911 for help and tells them about the shooting and that something was hurt badly. Then she sits by Cameron trying to keep him warm, she was very frightened for his life.

PART 12

Amanda was still waiting for help, Amanda was so upset she was wondering if they will get there in time before he dies. Cameron was lying so still, Amanda wishes that she could hear Cameron speaking so he could reassure her that he was alright but there was nothing. Them finally the Ambulance came they moved Amanda out the way and started working on Cameron. One of The Ambulance attendants says that Cameron is in shock the other said he was losing a lot of blood. One Attendant said to other that the bullet that hit was near his spinal cord if they do save him he can be crippled. Amanda Started screaming No, this can't be happening to Cameron she was really losing it. The one Attendant said to the other attendant that they had to calm this lady down they couldn't work on Cameron the way Amanda was acting. That's when Josi came in and said "Can I be of service." Both attendants look at Amanda and that when Josi went to her to settle her down. "Amanda, please settle down, they are trying to do their work and they can't with your yelling." Them when Amanda so Josi she started yelling and hitting at her telling her that her husband did this. Calm down Amanda but she was getting worse and pulling Josi hair and slapping her hard in the face she knocked Josi over and was on top of her.

Four police men came in and it took that many to stop Amanda for fighting with Josi. They pulled Amanda over to the other side of the room and asks her to calm down and for why she was hitting the other police woman officer. Amanda told her story about what Josi husband did to Cameron. They listen carefully to her. They wrote the evidence down and told Amanda that "doesn't give her the right to assault a police officer even when she is the wife of the suspect." And they also said "That she could be charge." When the other police men were looking Josi over, she had scratches on her face and couple of black eyes. The police man asks "do you want to charge Amanda?" Josi ignores the question and ask "who got shot" They look through his wallet and he told Josi "Cameron Sinclair" Josi put her hand on her mouth and said in her mind "Oh my God it is Gary's brother. Cameron must have not told him who he really was and what he did." A policeman again asks Josi "Do you want to charge Amanda? "No" Said Josi "She only did it because she upset about Cameron I know what she is going through" So the police man gave Amanda the good news that she wouldn't be charge.

They finally had Cameron all ready to bring to the hospital. He had IV in his arm and they where also giving him Blood transfusion. Amanda was begging the Ambulance attendants if she could go into the ambulance with Cameron. They told her "that she could go along with them if she didn't have another out burst like the one that she had earlier." She said "She would be on her best behavior." So on the way they went Cameron was having problems keeping alive. His heart stops a few times on the way to the hospital and they had to start jump it a few times. Amanda was really sad she was crying lightly to herself so she wouldn't disturb the ambulance attendants and Cameron. She wonders if he would make it if he didn't what was she going to do without him. The drive to the hospital took long she couldn't bare another minute.

PART 13

What seems like hours they finally they got Cameron to the hospital, they were trying to move Cameron quickly to operating room. They where finally at the operating doors Amanda was following them. The security stops her and said that how far as you can go. She watches Cameron disappears in the room and the doors close behind them. One of the emergency attendants came out to her and ask if she can sign Cameron in at the front desk and they give her Cameron Health card. So she does while she is waiting up the front desk Josi comes and put a hand on Amanda shoulder and asks her "if she okay." Amanda says to Josi "Back Off" Josi tells her "I know that I am the last person you want to see but there something about Cameron I have to tell you." "What is it" Amanda says angrily. "Cameron is Gary Brother. Don't take my word look at his health card." Amanda does and realizes that it is true." She looks at Josi for her to tell her more. Josi brings her in the waiting room and they talk there.

Meanwhile in the operating room they were ready to operate on Cameron. The operating procedure was very hard and Cameron wasn't in any good condition. He was starting to go and them all of sudden there was no hard beat the doctor and nurses where having a hard time to get his heart beat back. The Doctor was saying we are losing him. Them Cameron can feel himself slipping out of his body, he was having Out body experience. He could see the doctor working on him them he spirit slipped out of the room he sees Josi and Amanda crying. He tries to tell them he was all right but they didn't hear him. Them he saw a light it was very bright and very warm and peaceful. It was drawing Cameron closer to it. He felt peace and so much love and he felt really happy there. There was no more pain but before he could get in further he heard a voice say to him "It is not your time." Cameron says "Why" "your work down on earth is not finished yet." Then he sees two visions One was getting things right with his brother and the other was to take care of Amanda. Cameron still felt it was hard to leave this peaceful place could he be in heaven. Them he heard a stern voice again "It not your time. Go back" Then, Cameron could feel his spirt flying back down real fast. The doctors did everything. They were about to give up and say he was dead. Then the heart monitor went on that he was alive and doctors where all happy and work on him quickly. The rest of the operation went smoothly.

Meanwhile Amanda couldn't believe her ears that Cameron was Gary's brother and that he shot his parents. But something told her that it had to be something else that Cameron couldn't kill in cold blood unless they where a reason. The doctor came out right away Amanda and Josi went right up to the doctor and asks "how he is." The doctor looked at both of them and said "we thought we lost him for a minute but he made through the operation." Amanda was jumping up and down but the doctor calm her down and he told her "He is still in critical condition and time would tell how he will be." Amanda asked if he would be able to do normal things. The doctor said he wasn't sure he did have Spinal damage and it was too early to tell. He left Amanda thinking of those thoughts. Then at the corner of her eye she saw Gary in the Hospital.

PART 14

Amanda was going to give Gary hell but she felt a tap on her shoulder it was Rachel. "Mom" she said and ran to her arms. Rachael held her tightly and told her "that she heard the news on the radio." "It was awful Mom Gary shot Cameron" Rachael held Amanda tightly and told her "I know and I know he is here let the police handle it." Amanda and Rachael went to the police and the police arrested Gary right away. Amanda watches, it looks like Gary was going to turn himself in anyhow. Once the police arrive, Gary put his hands out so they can handcuff them. They were going to take him away put Gary asked "to give something to Amanda." So they lead him to Amanda. Amanda was talking with Rachel when she heard Gary voice "Excuse me Amanda can you give this letter to Cameron?" Amanda screams at Gary "Why should I, you shot your brother in cold blood you're a murderer." "I know I did and I am not happy what I did but I have to give this to my brother because it is important." Amanda stood there in shock for this guy who shot Cameron expected her to help him after what he did to Cameron. Rachael took the letter from Gary hands "We will see that he gets this." While the policemen were taking Gary away, Gary asked "How Cameron was doing." Amanda blurted out "He is not doing that well he survived the operation but he still might not make it and if he does, there might be a good chance that he may be crippled and paralyzed. Gary lowered his head "What did he do he was just like his dad and his brother a Murder he wishes he commit suicide right there and now. Finally the police took him away Josi tells Amanda she should go with him. Amanda says coldly "Go then, I will be here with Cameron" so Josi left to be with her husband.

Cameron's doctor came out to meet Amanda he says for her that she could go and see him now. She about to get up but the doctor sits her down. And explains to her that Cameron is on many different kinds of machinery and life support. And that he will have all kinds of tubes in him and he won't look at himself and sometimes his face would look kind of blue and black because he will not be getting enough oxygen. They also had him on a bed that rotates where he facing up and then he is facing the floor. It supposed to help his spinal cord in his back. Amanda puts her face in her hands and cries hard "this is not good, is it?" The Doctor and Rachael insure her "That Cameron is in good hands and yes he is still very critical condition. "Why Cameron, why couldn't it be me instead." "No, Amanda" Rachael says, "This shouldn't happen to anyone don't wish this on your self." The doctor says to Rachael "Do you think Amanda could handle seeing Cameron? She handles so much in one day." Rachel was going to agree with Amanda but Amanda says "I have to see him." "Are you sure Amanda" Rachael says. "Yes I got to mom" Amanda replied. So the doctor brought her to the room. She went in to room she saw all this machinery at first, then she went up close to him. He was facing the ceiling today Amanda looks at Cameron in shocked and fright and she says no this wasn't Cameron looked so scarey looking and old. His face and body had this yellowish colour to it and his eyes where all blood shot when he opened them. She didn't like the sight of the big tube down his throat. She back away that not my Cameron she kept saying that a old man she was backing up slowly she was scared what she saw and ran out of the room the doctor and Rachel tried to follow her but she was so scared she run all the way out of the hospital she found a park where no one was and she was really crying. No, she says to herself this is a nightmare she will wake up and he will be with her like his loving self.

Matt was walking through the park he thought he heard Amanda crying. Sure enough, when he got to her side, it was her. He says, "Amanda, what you doing here at this time of night." For it was very late. Amanda sobbed and told Matt the whole story about what happened to Cameron. Then she says "Wake me up now Matt so I could end this night mare." Matt takes Amanda in her arms and says, "I wish you where having a night mare but it did happened Amanda." Amanda was very much is in shock and Matt could tell this and he brings Amanda to his house make sure she has a hot bath with a bubble bath gives her hot milk. He lays her on the couch and gives her a blanket and Gives her a back rub till she falls asleep. Them he phones Rachael to tell her that he found Amanda that she was there for the night. Rachael was so happy that she was safe. After the phone call, he lies on the floor near her and slept like that for the night.
