My name is Domenica Di Gangi - Peplies and I live in
Düsseldorf (Germany) with my husband
Andreas Peplies.
Düsseldorf is the capital city of the federal land
Nordrhein-Westfalen.
I was born on the first of July 1972 as a daughter of
my Italian parents Pietrina und Giuseppe Di Gangi in Hilden
(a little town near Düsseldorf).
Salvatore is my younger brother and Antonella is my younger sister.
In Hilden I finished my school-education in 1991.
In March 1992 I became a German citizen.
Since October 1991 I study philosophy and social sciences
at the Heinrich-Heine-Universität
Düsseldorf.
I work for
Mannesmann Mobilfunk at the customer service department.
I moved here in TelevisionCity because I am a big
TV-Fan since my earliest childhood. But I do not watch everything on TV!!
I like watching SF series (e.g. STAR TREK - TOS or
Buck Rogers), detective series (e.g. Hawaii 5-0
or The Untouchables ), law series (e.g. Perry
Mason or Matlock) and sitcoms (e.g. Married with
children or Roseanne).
I am very fond of teddybears and this is the reason why I often watch
cartoons (e.g. Winni Pooh,
Paddington and Yogi
Bear).
Of course, I often go to the cinema. My favourite heroes are
Pierce Brosnan, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger and other ones
like:
