Dharma Finkelstien, played by Jenna Elfman, and Greg Montgomery, Thomas Gibson, meet when they are two young kids riding the metro with their parents, they don't speak, but they make eye contact and fall in love. When they're older, while riding the same train they see eachother, once again with out speaking. Dharma finds Greg and beats him to his office (he's a lawyer) when he gets there he is surprisewd to find Dharma sitting on his desk. They introduce themselfs and then go to a baseball game. Not even half way through the game Dharma decides she wants some pie. Where better to get pie than Reno. So, Dharma and Greg set off for Reno. Then they realize they don't wanna have to date and all that stuff so they decide to just get married. They get married and go home to tell everyone. First they go to Dharma's place where Greg starts to wonder what hes got himself into when he see's Larry (Alan Rachins) Dharmas father walking around naked. Everyone in Dharma's family is really excited about their marrige, except for Larry, who doesn't really know yet. Him and Abby (Mimi Kennedy) Dharmas mother, were hippies stuck in the 70's and weren't married. Greg is suprised once again, when Larry and Abby excuse them so they could have sex.
