Paris-Part Two

This is part 2 to "Paris". As I left off Dawson had just kissed Joey, mistaken her for Jen and then said he loved her(Jen). Joey was reasonably angry and she slapped the hell outta' Dawson and climbed down the ladder.

I do not own the characters, and I'm not in any way affiliated with the show, so please don't sue me I'm a minor w/o a job so I don't have any cash. *Song lyrics* are borrowed from GREEN DAY (GD-sent to me by the person that runs this page).

As Joey finished climbing down the ladder she saw satan himself walking across the lawn."Oh great" she replied under her breath. "What, your not happy to see me!?"

"Pacey the only time I'd be happy to see you is if you were lying in a coffin dead."

"so what happened, why were you and Dawson yellin' at each other?,I could hear you from out here." "He thought I was Jen when he kissed me."

"Shit Jo that must suck" he said w/ a hint of sarcasm. "Look I know I'll Regret this at some later point in time but can you take me home?"

"Yea,c'mon". The whole way to her house Joey was silent.

"You okay Jo?"

"Yea,I've decided to go to Paris,I mean i thought I'd have the time of my life kissing Dawson and that would make me wanna stay but,it's so unpredictable. Now I want to go even more." By that time they were at Joey's. "Bye Pace thanx for the ride."

When joey got in her room she started to pack. She went to her stereo, turned it on and she heard the beginning of a song that totally matched what she was feeling:

*Another turning point,a fork stuck in the road.
Time grabs you by the wrist directs you where to go.
So make the best of this test and don't ask why.
It's not a question but a lesson learned in time.
It's somethin' unpredictable but in the end it's right I hope you had the time of your life.
So take the photographs and still frames in your mind. Hang em' on a shelf in good health and good time.
Tatoos of memories and dead skin on trial.
For what it's worth it was worth all the while.
It's somethin' unpredictable but in the end it's right I hope you had the time of your life
It's somethin' unpredictable but in the end it's right I hope you had the time of your life*
Later on as she left for Paris the song played over in her mind. She asked herself if she was doing the right thing, was she?
