Chapter 19

~ Bay Of Angels - Ngau, Fiji - July 4th -11:00 P.M. ~

His anger was palpable. His chest heaved in and out with each furious breath. He had paid the bail to the reduced charges and had come back to thank Brenda. He knew that she had arranged for his charges to be reduced. He could tell that she was as attracted to him as he had been to her. The way she had whispered into his ear had filled him with heated interest. She wanted him! He had felt it in his bones. When he saw her disembark from the tram he had followed her. He watched her approach a tall, blonde man; nothing but a cardboard hero. The perfect height and weight, storybook blonde full wavy locks, perfectly tailored clothes with a rich cultured voice. He was nothing but a sugar and spice man. A regular 'Candy Boy'! He was livid when he made advances towards his woman. She was made for him, not for anyone else, especially this plastic lover. He would find out who this blonde bland bum was and have someone do the job for him. He had learned this afternoon to hold his temper in check and to let one of his men do the dirty work. However, things were heating up on the beach and he had to put a stop to it. He reached into his shoulder holster and removed his 9mm semi automatic pistol. He moved to within 15 yards of them and had taken aim when another couple approaching made him duck for cover.

"Come over here Lois. I want you to see this spot I found yesterday. I think it's enchanted. I was here at sunset yesterday admiring the view when suddenly it lit up before my eyes. Let's make a wish on the rainbow!"

"Eddie, we've got to get back. You've got one more set to perform. We're going to set off the last of the fireworks at midnight. We don't have time for your adventures!" She was laughing as he pulled her along the beach. "Whoa! That's fabulous. We don't have anything like that in Brooklyn! How did you find this place? We've been here for two months and I never knew this place existed!" As he pulled her closer to him, her voice changed to a throaty gasping sigh, "Oh Eddie, I don't think we should be moving this quickly. We've just met, you just broke up with Julia, and we've just becomes business partners."

Ned leaned in even closer and whispered, "I love it when you call me Eddie. I enjoy the freedom this persona has afforded me tonight. Ned is so stuffy, so proper, he would never be spontaneous. For instance he never would do this!" Ned picked Lois up and placed her on a ledge bordering the falls.

Unbeknownst to them, there was another couple watching with great interest. Jax and Brenda had heard them approaching and remained hidden in the shadows on the beach. Mainly because of their state of undress, but as the conversation progressed, their irritation of being interrupted by Lois once again, turned to amusement. They had managed to make themselves presentable and were about to make their presence known, when events between Lois and 'Eddie' looked that they were building to something delicious. They changed positions so both were lying side by side on their stomachs facing the waterfalls as the Romeo and Juliet performance to was about to begin!

Lois looked down at Ned from her perch, her face animated with pure fascination. She decided to join into fun, "Oh Eddie, you're so romantic!"

Ned looked up at Lois and burst into song,

Ten minutes ago, I saw you,
I looked up when you came through the door
My head started reeling, You gave me the feeling
the room had no ceiling or floor.

Jax and Brenda were trying hard not to laugh. This was so comical. Ned Ashton singing a love song to romance Lois! They exchanged amused glances and Jax placed his arm along her back sending little shock waves though her as she felt his warmth burning her skin.

Ned was now holding his arms outspread towards Lois moving his gaze from her, upwards towards the stars.

Ten minutes ago, I met you
and we murmured our how-do-you do's,
I wanted to ring out the bells and fling out my arms
and to sing out the news.
I have found her! She's an angel
with the dust of the stars in her eyes.
We are dancing, we are flying
and she's taking me back to the skies.

Sitting a few yards away another person witnessed this foolishness with growing anger. What was this place? Is the water spraying forth from the falls some kind of aphrodisiac? These four people couldn't keep their hands off each other! He wanted this performance to end so he could take care of business, or rather the competition.

Ned placed his hands on Lois' waist and lowered her back to the beach. Jax and Brenda exchanged a knowing look and shared a sweet innocent kiss.

In the arms of my love I'm flying
Over mountain and meadow and glen
And I like it so well that for all I can tell
I may never come down again!
I may never come down to earth again.

Ned took Lois in his arms as they began to waltz in the sand. She was laughing as he picked up speed. She really felt like she was flying. Whether it was the song, the falls, the man, she was soaring with joy!

In the arms of my love I'm flying
over mountain and meadow and glen
and I like it so well that for all I can tell
I may never come down again
I may never come down to earth again!

As the song ended Ned and Lois shared a kiss as he lowered her down to the sand. Lois' head was pillowed on Ned's arm as she looked into his face, "Eddie that's just a song. My business is songs. Why don't you tell me how YOU feel. Besides it hasn't been 10 minutes, we've known each other for over a day now. Actually 31 hours or 1,860 minutes."

"10 minutes, hours, days, weeks, years, or lifetimes. It doesn't matter. You are so different from everyone I've ever met! You're so sweet, energetic, honest. You just blow me away Lois Cerullo! I feel like every woman I've ever met has just been practice, to prepare me for you."

"But what about Brenda? You two looked very cozy yesterday. When Sonny was getting fresh with her, you got all protective, kind of jealous like."

"I love Brenda, Lois." Brenda felt Jax's hand on her back stiffen. She looked up at him and shrugged in confusion. This was all news to her! "I love her like my baby sister. I would protect her with my life! But I would GIVE you my life if you asked Lois. You just slay me! Knowing you has filled me with so much freedom of spirit. I didn't realize how much I missed being wild and impulsive until just now!" Brenda felt Jax's hand relax against the small of her back as he gently began to caress up and down her spine, sending shivers of desire rippling though her limbs.

"Eddie? Or are you Ned? Maybe what I love is the combination of the two sides. You're more like a Nedly! How do you like that name?"

"Lois, you can call me anything you want, as long as you call me yours." He lowered his head and kissed her lightly. As she responded, he deepened the kiss and rolled partially on top of Lois reveling in the feel of her body against his.

Jax and Brenda now looked at each other in growing embarrassment. What were they to do now. They couldn't announce themselves after all this time. But things were getting awful hot between those two.

"Jerry, where are you taking me? You can't believe that I would let you do anything on the beach with me do you? I can't think of anything more uncomfortable than laying on the beach getting sand in my clothes and hair."

"Julia, why don't you let your hair down. I've been on this beach before and the view is spectacular. I already have a bottle of my favorite champagne chilling in the water near the falls. Why don't you share it with me as we gaze at the moonlight and get to know each other better? I'm really a very nice guy. Just give me a chance, I can make the evening memorable for you."

Brenda looked desperately at Jax. This was getting ridiculous. She sees Jax mouthing the words 'My Brother' to her. She has to control her giggles as she mouths back 'My Sister'. His brow raised in shocked, then an ironic smile spread across his face.

Ned and Lois are startled by the approaching couple as they too lie low thinking they were the only ones on the beach.

In the shadows, Sonny holsters his gun. Now was not the right time. But he would have his chance soon. He stands and walks deeper into the brush to make his escape away from the densely populated beach.

Julia grabs Jerry, "What was that?! Did you hear something over there in the bushes? What if it's a lion or a bear?"

"We're in Fiji, luv. There are no lions or bears here. It's probably just a bird taking flight. Now where were we. I know! We were about to settle down and make ourselves comfortable. We don't want to waste this gorgeous view do we?"

"Jerry, just go over there and make sure it's safe. I don't think I can get comfortable until I know we aren't being watched by some wild animal or crazed killer."

Jerry sighs, "All right luv, if it will make you feel safe, I'll just head over there and -- -- Ouff" The wind was knocked out of Jerry as he tripped over Jax. "What the 'ell did I -- JAX, what are you doing here?"

"Being trod upon by my brother apparently." Jax stands and brushes the sand off as he reaches down and assists Brenda to her feet. "Jerry, this is Brenda, Brenda this is my brother Jerry."

Julia turns as she hears a gasp to her left. "Jerry! There's something else here on the beach with us!"

"Calm down Julia, it's just me. Looks like everyone had the same idea tonight." Ned rises and reaches down to help Lois up. His expression was one of extreme irritation. He looked over to Brenda, "And how long have you been here baby sister."

Brenda couldn't help herself, she started laughing. She approaches Ned and holds both his hands in hers and pulls him into a slow turn. "Not long Ned, No more than --" She begins to sing "

10 minutes ago, we came here,
And saw you singing to Lois and then,
Your head started reeling, As you started feeling
That Lois was more than a friend.

Ned throws Brenda's hands aside and stalks away. He turns and their gazes clash and hold. He puts his arm around Lois' hugging her to him while still holding Brenda's gaze. The anger suddenly washes from his eyes as he starts to laugh. As the tension subsides everyone is reduced tears from hysterical laughter.

"Champagne everyone?" Jerry has removed a magnum of Dom Perignon from the base of the falls and is holding a stack of paper cups.

Jax shakes his head, "Paper cups Jer?"

"Lucky I brought these instead of champagne glasses, otherwise you'd all be watching Julia and I partake alone. Now there's enough for all of us to share. Who's in the mood for a game of 'Truth or Dare'? I'd love to know what brought all of us here tonight, and why everybody was just lying about on the sand when Julia and I wandered by?"

Everyone sat in a makeshift circle as Jerry filled each glass. Jerry raise his glass, "A toast, to the New Nukuyaweni Outpost, to the Idle Rich, and to new partnerships and possibly loves!"

"Hear, hear!" everyone responded and clinked paper as they drank to each other's happiness.

Lois was the first one to speak, "Oh my gosh! Look at the time! We've got to get back up to the top for the next set. Come on Nedly!"

Ned downs the last of the champagne and grabs Brenda's hand and forced her to her feet as well, "Come on Bren, I'm gonna need your help for the next set. You were such a big hit closing the 1st set they were clamoring for you during my second set."

Brenda yells over her shoulder at Julia, "Jules, you better come along too. This is your company's big night. Don't you want to be there for the final moments of glory."

As Julia dashed after the trio, Jax and Jerry were left to themselves on the beach. Jerry looks at Jax with bemusement, "Isn't this how we started the evening Jax? We must be losing our touch."

Jax stands and takes Jerry's hand in his pulling him upright. "Let's catch the next tram back to the top. Maybe after the last set, we can get ourselves back on track." As the brothers walk in companionable silence back towards the tram, Jerry turns to Jax, "Just to be safe, where are you planning to take Brenda after the show? I don't want you to trip up my routine again tonight little brother."

~ Brenda's Room - Nukuyaweni Outpost - July 5th 8:00 A.M. ~

The water was as clear as glass, she could see their reflection off the surface as clearly as if she were looking in a mirror. They made a handsome picture as her red pantsuit was such a drastic contrast from his linen slack and jacket. She turned on the chaise lounge until she was facing him. She pushed her sunglasses up on top of her head as she looked into his bright blue eyes. She tried to think of a way to word what she needed to tell him. They had to be just friends for now. She knew there was this amazing chemistry going on between them, but there was too much going on right now for her to lead him on like this. She licked her parched lips as she began to speak. Jax placed a finger on her lips to quiet her. They stared into each other's eyes as both were uncontrollably pulled towards one another. Their kiss was soft and tentative, both pulled back and looked questioningly in each other's eyes, then joined together with greater force. Both giving and taking as their kisses churned up feelings that neither had felt before. Brenda was falling, floating, flying. She was delirious with feelings of rapture Jax brought forth as his lips explored the valley between her breasts. She closed her eyes more tightly to protect them from the blinding Malibu sun .. ..

Jax whispered in her ear, "Brenda?" She stretched like a cat in the sun, never wanting these feelings to stop. The whispers continued, "Brenda? I'm sorry to bother you, but how do you work the shower out on the verandah? I'm meeting Jerry for breakfast in an hour and I need to get dressed." Julia in desperation began to shake Brenda awake. Brenda struggled to push the sleep from her body, this dream was too good to wake. Who was disturbing her dreams?

"Jules? What do you want? This better be good, I was having the most wonderful dream." She smiled broadly as the aftereffects of her dream still clung stubbornly to her mind.

"I'm sorry Bren, but I can't figure out how to work the shower. Why is it outside anyway?"

"It's called ambiance Julia. Don't worry it's totally private. It's an open air shower and Jacuzzi. There's nothing like showering while surrounded by nature. The controls are located in the lava rock about half way up the shower wall."

"Thanks, Bren. Go back to sleep." Julia dashed out to the deck, Brenda soon heard the sounds of water falling from the verandah.

Brenda almost rolled over returning to sleep, but thought better or it. It wasn't often that her dreams brought such pleasure to her. In the last year she more often woke up in a cold sweat from fear. She didn't want to dim the pleasurable glow that this dream had caused. As she rose from her bed she wondered about her dream. It had seemed so real, it had felt so real. Jax's dream kisses still had her floating from its tenderness and passion. She walked over to the vanity and saw her glowing face looking back at her. The place she dreamed of had seemed so real, the ocean, the water, the reflecting pool. She must have seen it in a travel log. The dream had been too detailed to have been pure imagination.

She was brushing her hair out when she heard a knock at the door. It must by Julia's breakfast date. She slipped on her robe and opened the door.

"Wrong sister. Where's my vision of loveliness?"

"Good Morning to you too, Jerry. Julia is still in the shower. She's not expecting you until 9:00. That's when the little hand in on the 9 and the big hand is on the 12."

"Sorry for my churlishness Brenda. Let start over, Good morning dear heart. I always like to arrive a little early for a first date to see what they look like without all the war paint on. Don't like to be surprised the morning after. I can tell you some horrible stories of my early mistakes." He stop his prattling as Julia made her way in from the verandah.

"Jerry! You're early. Just give me 15 minutes to dry my hair and put on a little makeup." As she dashed into the dressing room, Jerry turned to Brenda and gave her a wink and a thumbs up sign.

"Jerry you are nothing like Jax. I don't see what Julia see in you."

"Well you nothing like Julia. I don't see what Jax sees in you."

"I guess it's our good fortune that we both find nothing appealing about the other. Wouldn't promote good sibling relationships if we both lusted for each other."

"I didn't say I didn't find you appealing. I just said I don't see what Jax sees in you. If you had lustful feelings for me, I would be more than happy to oblige."

Brenda studied Jerry's face before answering, "If I thought you were serious, I would tell Jax so he could teach you a lesson. But I know you're just trying to get a rise out of me, but I can see right through your facade."

"So we understand each other then?"

"Oh yes we do, clearly."

"Julia, you are truly a vision of loveliness. Let's get going, there's a lovely spot I want you to see today." Brenda shakes her head as they depart. How can such a brilliant business woman have such horrible taste in me. Jerry's so obvious, so phony in his compliments. She could do so much better. I guess everyone has different taste. With that thought in mind she wandered out to the verandah to enjoy a leisurely shower.

~ Jax's Room - Nukuyaweni Outpost - July 5th 9:00 A.M. ~

Jax paced about his room. He had been dressed for over an hour and had been moving from the verandah to his desk, to the couch and back. He had tried reading, listening to music, reviewing business messages and had accomplished, nothing.

He and Brenda had decided late last night they were moving too quickly. He was still in the middle of divorcing Miranda and she was still in school. They admitted that they were both extremely attracted to one another but they wanted to take it slow. The last thing he wanted was for Brenda to be the subject of paparazzi if the press wanted to manufacture lies about the reasons behind his divorce proceedings against his mentally unstable wife. They had agreed to take a step back for at least the next six months until his divorce was final. She had received admittance to NYU in the fall and he would seek her out after he was legally free. Only six months, they would get together in January, that wasn't such a long time. Who was he kidding it was forever!

These six months would be the true test. He didn't know how genuine his feelings were. After what happened with Miranda, he was never going to throw himself into a relationship again. He had met and married Miranda within weeks, and look what happened then! He was going to go much slower this time. What had been going on between Brenda and him had to be pure lust. It couldn't be love, they had met under extraordinary circumstances. Pirates, blindness, near death, mysterious disappearances, and galas all in a tropical paradise setting. Who's feelings wouldn't have been skewed by that! In an ordinary setting, they would find each other boring, of no interest to each other. He probably wouldn't even look at her twice on New Years Eve. Most likely she would meet some young college freshman and fall in love anyway, as it should be. They were to meet at the Guggenheim Museum under the dome at the top of the spiral walkway at 5:00 P.M.; and determine whether there still was something between them.

Why had he agreed that they wouldn't see each other until then. He threw his papers down on his desk in disgust as he heard a knock at his door. Had Jerry forgotten his key again? He flung open the door to berate his older brother. "Jer, I thought you said you'd be with Julia for the rest of the day? What happened did she see right through you alrea-- -- Brenda! What are you doing here? I thought we agreed not to see each other for now?" She was standing there looking a little lost, tentative, and exceedingly tempting. How did she manage to look more beautiful each time he saw her. Even wearing shortalls and a tank top, she exuded raw sexuality.

She looked up at him and smiled shyly. "I guess I shouldn't have come here, but Julia is out with Jerry and I was feeling kind of lonely. I should be overflowing with happiness since the hotel opening was a big success. We're already booked through the holidays! I'm part owner in a new record label who has signed a suddenly hot new group. And yet, I feel empty. Something's missing." She moves into his room as he slowly backs up to maintain their distance. "Success means nothing, without someone to share it with." She closes the distance and places her hands on his chest and slowly moves them up towards his face. "And I thought, Jax is alone too right now. He and I are friends. I know he would like to share my happiness with me. Am I right Jax? Will you spend the day with me, as friends?" Her hands were now on either side of his face, her thumbs moving a slow path towards his lips. She smiled when she saw his Adam's apple bob as he swallowed hard.

Jax was getting dizzy from lack of air. The room was suddenly hot and the air was too thick to breathe. He grabbed both of her hands and pulled them away from his face. He inhaled deeply trying to regain his senses. "What are you trying to do Brenda? Didn't we agree that we shouldn't be doing this? We agreed to wait."

Brenda steps away and Jax's heart is pierced with remorse as he sees the hurt that was evident on her face. "I'm sorry Jax. I didn't come here intending to do that. It's your fault you know, you're just too sexy for words. I really just wanted to ask you to spend the day with me, as friends. Julia and I are leaving tomorrow and I was at loose ends today so I thought you could keep me company. Do you think you have the time to spend with me today Jax?"

Jax looks down at her fondly, "I think I could force myself to spend a few minutes with you. What do you have in mind?"

Brenda face just sparkled with joy, "I thought we could go horseback riding. Do you ride Jax? I rode this great horse named Spitfire when I was here last year and I wanted to take him out again!"

Jax was shocked, "Were you riding a palomino last year? By any chance were you chasing the sunset to the horizon along the shore?"

Brenda was startled, "Yes I did! Jax, how would you know that?"

Jax hugged her to him, "It's just a small world we live in Brenda. I guess I couldn't escape you if I tried. I see you everywhere I turn. You're inescapable!" As he sees her distressed look, he places his hand under her chin and tilts her face up to his, placing a sweet kiss on the tip of her nose. "Don't worry sweetie, being inescapable is a good thing! Now where is the stable? Let's go for that ride."

-- -- -- -- --

The door to Jax's room opened in a flurry of laughter and shouts. Brenda dashed in first tripping on the carpet. Jax found her sprawled across the floor of his lounge area has he followed close behind.

"I didn't realize you were such a klutz Brenda!" Jax steps over her and collapses on the couch his breathing labored.

Brenda equally winded gasps, "Style points don't count Jax, I still got here first, so I win!"

"But you cheated! You pretended that you had a cramp in your leg in the lobby and when I turned 'round to check, you pushed me down and took off."

Brenda has flipped over on her back, hands behind her head, one foot atop a bent knee she looks back at Jax, "All's fair Jax. As in business, if you show sympathy for the competition, you lose."

"I see Ned and Julia have taught you well over the last year Brenda." He reaches out with his sock covered foot and tickles her with his toe.

"Jax stop that. You smell of horses!"

"So do you Brenda, but I can remedy that!" He picks her up and carried her out to the open air shower on his verandah and turns on the water. He steps under the cold shower of water with Brenda still struggling in his arms. She squeals as the cold water sends chills through her body.

"Jax! It's cold! Turn on the warm water. Please!" Jax obliges switching the water to warm. Brenda now standing, turns to let the warm spray cover her chilled form. Jax turns her towards him, whispering to her, "I really had a wonderful time today Brenda. Thanks for asking me out for the day." Jax was trying hard not to act on his increasing desires. She was looking up at him with those shinning dark eyes, the spray from the shower was forming little drops on those lush long lashes. When she blinked they merged with the droplets on her lower lashes and formed tiny rivulets that trailed down her face, neck and slowly trailed between the two soft mounds of flesh below. Oh to be a little drop of water. Jax unconsciously held his breath as his thoughts had taken him where he swore they would not venture.

Brenda released a trembling breath as she was fighting equally erotic thoughts. "Jax?"

"Yes sweetie?"

She blinked up at him nervously, "Now we smell like wet horses."

Jax was momentarily speechless. That was the last thing running through his mind! But she was right, they did smell of wet horses. "Bathe with me Brenda? Help me wash off the day."

"Jax, what about our agreement? Friends first remember?"

"There doesn't have to be anything sexual about bathing Brenda. In Japan they have communal bath houses. You scrub my back, I'll scrub yours? The spa has filled with fragrant water now. It would therapeutic after that long horseback ride we took. What do you say?" Jax is giving Brenda his most winsome smile.

"I don't have my swimsuit Jax. What am I going to wear?"

"You aren't going shy on me now are you Brenda. Just remove your shortalls, you can keep on your tank top and panties. They cover more than your swimsuits do anyway." Brenda gives him a skeptical look. "I'm not a dog in heat Brenda, I think I can control by baser emotions." Jax bestows on Brenda his best choir boy expression.

"All right Jax. But you go and change into trunks while I get settled in the spa."

"Done." As Jax leaves to change, Brenda watches to ensure his departure.

When she was confident that he wasn't watching she unbuckled her shortalls and tossed them aside. She looked at her red tank top and matching bikini underwear and thought Jax was right. This covered infinitely more skin and any swimsuit that she owned. She quickly soaped and showered before she stepped down into the spa. She felt the warm mineral filled jasmine scented water relax her to the bone. She was humming softly to herself when he returned wearing black racing speedos. No man should look that perfect. He reminded her of a Greek sculpture. She watched in admiration as he soaped and showered before her with total lack of self-consciousness He paused just before stepping into the spa, "I'll be right back." Her eyes followed as he departed, enjoying that view as well. Jax returned with champagne, stopping to turn a key as he passed through the French doors. The verandah was then bathed in the light of the torches that rimmed the deck. She heard soft music from the stereo floating out to them as Jax entered the spa. As he placed the champagne on the deck, he left his arm casually draped behind her.

"This is so relaxing, don't you think?" He looked down to her and she was made breathless from the sight of his intense blue eyes.

Her response stuck in her throat as 'relaxing' was the last word she would use to describe her feelings. "Yes, it is Jax." She closed her eyes to feign calm as she attempted to ignore the feelings that began bubbling up inside her. His fingers barely touching her shoulder made her heart race.

"Brenda? You seem a bit tense."

"I'm fine Jax, just a little stiff from the long ride we took. I'll just soak a little longer to work the kinks out of my neck."

She opened her eyes in a panic as Jax moved her between his legs as he pulled her towards him till her back was pressed against his chest. "This will do more good for you than a soak." He began to massage her neck and shoulders. Her body stiffened as she tried hard to hold back the waves of desire. "Relax Brenda, you have to relax for this to work." She trembled as her mind was solely focused on the movements of his hands. She leaned back more closely to him as a small soft moan escaped her lips. Unable to hold back any longer she snuggled closer into his arms, inadvertently rubbing against him.

Jax suddenly pushed her away before she could feel his reaction to her motions. "Maybe this wasn't such a good idea Brenda." He sits opposite her in the spa. They sit there staring at one another, chests heaving with barely controlled passion with only the soft sounds from the stereo breaking the silence.. .. ..

Those fingers in my hair
That sly come hither stare
That strips my conscience bare
It's witchcraft

"Jax? Why are we fighting this? Why don't we just give in? Maybe afterwards, this terrible yearning will end. Lovers can be friends can't they Jax?" The firelight danced across her face giving her cheeks a peach colored glow. Brenda was like the flame, she was sensual, enveloping, overpowering and hot, so hot, he burned just by being near her.

And I've got no defense for it
The heat is too intense for it
What good would common sense for it do

Her sultry eyes continued to bore into his soul. Brenda cupped his face in her hands and drew him into her. With deliberate slowness she tasted and teased his lips with her tongue. He could taste her wild desire, she clung to him telling him with her mouth and body that she needed him as badly as he did her. Every inch of him was eager for her touch. Maybe she was right. Surrendering to desire would be for the best. If he spend the next six months thinking about this, she would fill his every thought. If they just made love, maybe the spell would be broken and his fascination in her would end. She was willing, practically begging. What would be wrong in doing something they both so desperately wanted? Her mouth was like velvet, warm, smooth and soft. He ran his hands through her hair and looked deeply into her eyes trying to find his answer. She whispered, "Make Love with me Jax." And he was lost as his body answered her plea.

'Cause it's witchcraft, wicked witchcraft
And although, I know, it's strictly taboo
When you arouse the need in my
My heart says yes indeed in me
Proceed with what your leading me to

Gently he brushed the straps from her shoulders and skimmed his lips across to her neck and downwards to where the damp cloth still clung to her breasts. She seemed so small, fragile, young! When his lips returned to hers, she was gasping as his tongue merged with hers. He jerked convulsively as her hands explored, carefully feeling the long hard lines of his body. He'd never experienced anything like this before. They sizzled with heat. He could feel her pulse racing wherever he placed his lips.

It's such an ancient pitch
But one I wouldn't switch
'Cause there's no nicer witch than you

Brenda had somehow turned and was sitting on his lap. Her gentle motions assisted by the water in the spa was causing anguished spasms through his body. He could stand no more of this sweet torture. He suddenly stood up, scooping her into his arms and carried her soaking wet into his bed. He fought for gentleness as his mouth crushed hers. He was desperate from wanting. His hands moved freely over her body, removing the rest of her clothes and then his own.

She was writhing and whispering mindlessly beneath him. With every touch, every sigh, every kiss, his heart pounded faster. His passions raged, he had gone past being able to harness his emotions. They would join as one. He would finally be set free of the desires she aroused in him from the first moment they met. She was so unbelievably soft and welcoming. He struggled for control as her body began to move in a rhythm that was tightening every muscles in his body. He moved above her, watching her face, seeing her shudder in pleasure. She trembled as she gripped the comforter beneath her. He bit his lip trying to force his mind to control his body as he felt the beginnings of losing total control. Then her body trembled as she gasped his name. He felt her nails make little crescent indentation across his back as she finally fell off the edge and floods of unbearable pleasure spasm through her. Then his hot, damp skin, covered in a blanket of goosebumps as he experienced the most earthshaking of releases. His mind shattered into a thousand pieces.

They looked at each other in shock as their bodies slowed and calmed. They shared a smile of complete and total satisfaction as they drifted off to exhausted well deserved slumber.

~ Jax's Room - Nukuyaweni Outpost - July 6th 7:00 A.M. ~

Jax stretched his muscles as his mind slowly rose to consciousness. He moved his arm across to Brenda's side of the bed and found nothing but a cool empty pillow. He rose in panic wondering if it had all been a dream. Blinking the sleep from his eyes he ran his hands back to smooth his rumpled hair. Seeing a note where Brenda's head should have been, he opens it apprehensively. He rubbed his eyes trying to make them focus on the note:

Jax,

Sorry to leave with only a note, but you looked so sweet I didn't want to wake you. Our plane leaves at 7:00 so I had to dash. I don't regret for a moment what we shared last night. I hope you feel the same. Hope you are able to tie up your loose ends over the next six months so that we will have no further obstacles when we meet again on New Year's Eve. See you then.
