RAYS!!!
I had soooooooooooooo much trouble with rays. No matter what I tried I couldn't get any. I was armed with the tutorial but still no luck. In despair I threw myself on the mercy of the Terragen newsgroup and Westonmi came to my rescue with a Zip file of 4 images with rays he had done. The above image is composed of his terrain (Grand Canyon) and his world file, but they were my clouds. I later went on to use the techniques I discovered here to make my own rays YAY! That image is entered into the Terracon 'Beam Me Up' contest, so won't appear on my website till after it is finished.
