Skip the burble - LET'S SEE PIX!
I use Paint Shop Pro Ver 6 as my graphic editing program. But this program is much more complex and capable of far more than my limited capabilites make use of.
My favourite part of PSP is the plugins that can go with it. First and foremost is BLADEPRO, and I cannot rapturise long enough about this wonderful program. The title graphics and the border graphics on this website were created in PSP and Bladepro. The preset used is one I created myself using one of my own Terragen images. Hey! I need to get a life LOL
I also have a group of plugins called FLAMING PEAR ESSENTIALS. I will be honest, I havent used them for much other than playing but I have......intentions. Oddly enough, I have downloaded, trialled and registered LUNARCELL, which makes fantastic moons and planets, and I intend to use these in future Terragen images.
But what bought me to this point was a new plugin - FLOOD. I saw this on the FP website but dismissed it as unnecessary as Terragen already does great water. But after seeing an image someone had made in Terragen but used Flood to do the water I was intrigued. So I downloaded Flood and had a try.
What excited me the most about Flood is that it reflects everything above, including clouds. This is one thing Terragen doesn't (yet?) do.
NEW!!! I have had my first play with Lunar Cell :-)
This is a Flaming Pear plugin that allows you to create moons and planets, and it will do it transparently into your image as a layer, so you can move it around etc. Haven't quite figured out this layer thing but take a look at my first effort.
