I would like to say a huge thankyou for the people who are helping me along the way:

Sam Barros. Sam is the designer and constructor of the website http://www.powerlabs.org, the site that first introduced me to the exciting world of Tesla Coils. Sam has built many Tesla coils in his time, including the Twin coil system. For anybody interested in building Tesla coils his website contains a very concise guide to the creation of a Tesla coil system as well as the peripheral components such as the capacitor bank and the spark gap. His website is a must for avid coilers, both new to the hobby and the veterans who want to see others' sites and compare the coils with their own.

Charles 'Chuck' Hobson. Chuck has recently been helping me with the scientific theory behind these amazing devices, which is very deep and not light reading at all! Chuck has been trained by the best of the US Government, so apart from being a great guy and a wizard coiler, he has an extensive amount of knowledge on the subject, and you can see his web site at http://www.charles.a.hobson.btinternet.co.uk/. Many thanks go out to him , and especially the hours that he must have spent writing these emails to me!

Mike Tucknott. Mike has been helping me to find and buy the parts for my coil. http://freespace.virgin.net/michael.tucknott/ is his website, and it contains masses of information about all of the constituent parts of tesla coils, as well as having a list of all of the UK Tesla coilers! He has been to the Corby and Cambridge teslathons and he knows what he is talking about!

Terry Fritz is the ring leader of the Tesla List - the largest list around. New and old coilers alike should join this list - it is an absolute godsend. Any questions to ask just post them and you will get an answer! The website is http://www.pupman.org and you can check the archives from there. Terry is also the main man when it comes to tesla coil theory, design, construction, tweaks... his brain is bigger than the computer that handles all those messages!!!

Steve Rodway. Steve is the admin on the TCBOUK mailing list and the other half of Legion Electronics. He organises the Amberly events and is a very knowlegeable guy. He collects stuff 'wot takes big current' and has (i believe) an extensice power xfmr (pig) collection!!! His websites are http://www.tcbouk.org.uk and his business site is http://www.legion-elec.demon.co.uk.

Nick Field is helping me with my SRSG, and is great for asking really hard questions about stuff :) His website is http://www.tesla-coil.co.uk . He has built plenty of coils, including one for a magazine... If you want the article he wrote I can send it to you (Word97 format).

Steve Crawshaw is supplying me with capacitors for my project. I believe he has some more MMC's (multiple mini caps) and he does them cheaper than RS and Maplins! Drop him a line and he might be able to sort you out with some.

Alan Sharp is the organiser of the Corby teslathon events here in the UK. Want to go? Just drop him a line or visit his website http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/alansharp/.

Dr Duncan Cadd (Dunckx) is the designer and implementer of the 'Quick and Dirty' Valve controlled tesla coil. He is helping me with a lot of different bits and pieces, including building an effective SG :) His website is http://home.freeuk.net/dunckx/ - go here to see his TCs!!

Mike Fraylich. Mike has been my friend all through my secondary education from the age of about eleven. He is also a keen electrician and is currently helping me with the design and soon the construction of my first coil. Many thanks go to him for the help that he has given me and will give me in the future!
