When John was buried, 17260523, he was recorded as John March of Exon. John Marsh 1670 - 17260523 of Exon, baptised Martha 17010122, Ruth 17070610 - 17630606 aged 56 and John 17070827. Why the 10 weeks gap between baptising these two - was Ruth about 3 when she was baptised?

John Marsh 1695 - buried his wife Ann 17291231. He baptised Ann 17190102 lived 3 weeks, Thomas 17220326, Mary 17240102, Isaac 17250505 and John 17290605 - 17320514 lived almost 3 years.

In 1737 the ffs receipts show he received 1 pound 10 shillings
for a years salary for writing and keeping ye town accounts.

William Marks 1688 - 17441219 buried his wife Rachel 17410115. William Marks was paid 1-11-06 in 1720 for keeping the accounts and writing up the report for the year.
He was later employed as the 'Writhing Master' and Accountant.
He married Elizabeth (named in his Will) and John appears to be born about 1743
