All of the codes except 'iddqd', 'idfa', 'idkfa', and 'idmypos' can be toggled on and off even though some of the codes only last a few seconds.

The Computer Map code 'iddt' must be entered while in Automap mode.

The only monsters that the Mass Kill code 'fhhall' will not kill are Lost Souls and John Romaro's Head. This code will cause 10,000 damage points to all other monsters, which will not only kill monsters, but make Imps and Humanoid monsters explode.
The Quiet Mode code 'fhshh' will be become ineffective if:
  1. The monster hears you use any weapon including the fist
  2. The monster is damaged by another monster's attack
  3. The code is toggled off and the monster sees you
Weather or not a monster will be alerted to sound depends on the sound-propagation range, if a weapons sound can't reach a given monster, the monster will not be alerted.
When warping or moving to a new level the Mass Kill code 'fhhall' will not preserved while the Quiet Mode code 'fhshh' will be preserved, as long as you are quiet.
Both the Mass Kill code 'fhhall' and the Quiet Mode code 'fhshh' are disabled in Nightmare Mode.
Quiet Mode is not preserved in saved games.
