Worldwide there are more than 600 different stamps on this theme and the number is increasing nearly every week now, because it is not necessary that there is a monitor or a desktop to be seen on the stamp. People whom helped in developping the computer throughout the years are often shown with their portraits: Pascal, Jaquard, Leibniz, Babbage are some of the names.
Computer related things like punchtapes, computer art, telecommunications, census, industrial design, book printing, etc., etc. are also often shown on many stamps.
