Texas Air Cargo
Operations Manual
Scope of this manual:
To provide the necessary information that all owner operators/employees need to conduct business with or for Texas Air Cargo.

Section I, Flight Selection and Booking.

Step 1. From the homepage click on the Available Flights icon.
Step 2. Choose flights from the hub that you are assigned to then either choose Long Flight, Medium Flights or Short Flights.. Each flight number is highlited. Click on the flight number for more information about that flight.
Step2.1 There is a sample flight plan listed with each flight cor your convenience, however you can make your own flight plan if you wish.
Step 3. Once you have chosen the flight that you want,  click on the Flight Request icon.
Step 4. Fill out the flight request completely and then press submit.
Step 5. Check your e-mail within 48 hours for your flight confirmation. Please remember that there are only a certain number of any one flight, so if you are turned down for a flight, please choose another one. The only reason you would be turned down for a flight is that they are all booked in that category. If you do not receive flight confirmation, fly the route anyway. Sometimes this information is not forwarded in enough time for the flight. You will be paid whether you receive confirmation or not.

Section II, Completing the Necessary Forms.

Step 1. Once your flight confirmation is received, go to the TAC homepage and click on the Company Forms icon.
Step 2. From the Company Forms page click on Flight Plan.
Step 3. Fill out the flight plan completely (Remember to check the weather for each flight. Current weather along with airport information for each hub and destination city is listed below the available flights for your convenience along with), and submit it.
Step 4. Fly your route according to your flight plan as best as possible. If you happen to be flying the route with other employees on the MSN Gaming Zone and notice one of them playing, or flying in an unsafe manner, please fill out and submit an unsafe conduct report. Texas Air Cargo doesn't mind playing on the zone, but there is a time and place for everything.

Section III, Post Flights

Step 1. Once you have completed your flight, go to the TAC homepage and click on Company Forms.
Step 2. From the Company Forms page click on Post Flight Report.
Step 3. Fill out the Post Flight Report completely. This is very important because we update your hours on the roster and update your aircraft's logbook from this. You are paid based on the number of miles turned in on Post Flight Reports as well.
Step 4. If your aircraft requires maintenance, click on the Maintenance Request from the Company Forms page. Fill out the maintenace request completely and submit it. Please try to refrain from flying your aircraft until you are contacted by our maintenance department. Remember that Texas Air Cargo's shop rate is $100 per hour plus parts. This adds to the realism of running your own business.
Step 5. If you had any type of accident whatsoever during your flight, click on Accident Report from the  Company Forms page. Fill out the Accident Report completely. An officer of Texas Air Cargo will contact you shortly after to discuss the accident.

Section IV, Miscelaneous Information.

I. Your aircraft's logbook contains a lot of information. Most of it is self -explanatory, but some things are not. If you do not understand something on your logbook, contact us by e-mail. Check your aircraft logbook  regularly. If you find any discrepencies on it contact your Hub Captain. Also remember that your aircraft will be grounded from time to time for routine maintenance, FAA mandated inspections, etc. for which you will be charged. This again adds to the realism.

II. Please verify your hours on the employee roster regularly. If you notice an error contact your Hub Captain.

III. Please verify your pay and deductions on the financial information sheet regularly. If you find an error contact your Hub Captain.

Section V, Chain of Command.

I. Every organization has a chain of command in order for business to be conducted smoothly. Texas Air Cargo's Chain of Command is as follows:

II. Please follow this Chain of Command when addressing any issue (i.e. pay disputes, logbook problems, etc.). If you do not feel that the problem was resolved, go to the next person in the Chain of Command.

III. New positions will be added to the Chain of Command as the company grows.
