| Section VI, Position Descriptions. I. Chief Operations Officer A. The Chief Operations Officer is the highest officer in Texas Air Cargo. The CO's responsibilities are: * Management of all daily operations of Texas Air Cargo. * Train the Vice President to manage all daily operations of Texas Air Cargo. * Train and guide all Directors in their job functions. * Serve as the moderater of all Board Meetings. * Ensure that Texas Air Cargo's web site as a whole is properly maintained. * Ensure that recruitment and retention policies are adhered to. II. Vice President A. The Vice President is the second highest officer in Texas Air Cargo. The VP's responsibilities are: * Serve as the acting Chief Operations Officer in the CO's absence. * Train and guide all Directors in their job functions. * Serve as a Board member. * Ensure that Texas Air Cargo's web site as a whole is properly maintained. * Ensure that recruitment and retention polices are adhered to. III. Directors of..... A. All Director are third in seniority in the company. Their responsibilities are varied by position. B. Director of Personnel * Ensure that recruitment and retention policies are adhered to. * Places job postings in the company newsletter and on other flightsim related sites. * Maintain adequate staff at all company locations. * Maintain all personnel records. * Assists in choosing Employees of the Month and Year. * Serve as a Board member. C. Director of Public Relations * Writes and publishes weekly press releases to various flightsim related sites. * Fields questions from flightsim related sites pertaining to Texas Air Cargo * Serves as Editor of TAC News; the company's quarterly newsletter. * Serves as a Board member. D. Director of Flight Operations * Manage Regional Directors. * Replies to Flight Requests via e-mail. * Update Flight hours and last flight dates on the Company Roster page. * Maintain Flight Boards on the Available Flights page. * Research and post safety NOTAMS. * Ensure that all available flights are made. * Serve as a Board member. E. Director of Finances * Maintains all Company Financial Data pages. * Maintains all Employee Financial Data pages. * Ensure all loans and insurance policies are up to date. * Ensures that all rent and employee sales/loans are collected accurately. * Serves as a Board member. F. Director of Maintenance * Maintains all Aircraft Logbook pages. * Ensures all new aircraft have logbooks initiated. * Responds to all Maintenance Requests via e-mail. * Ensures all maintenance is performed in a timely manner and that the employee is accurately billed. * Ensures all routine maintenance is performed on time to reduce down time to the employees. * Serves as a Board member. IV. Regional Directors. A. The Regional Directors report to the Director of Flight Operations and are responsible for: * Manage Hub Captains in assigned region. * Ensures Hubs in assigned regions are adequately staffed. * Ensures that all available flights for assigned regions are made. * Sets budgets for Assigned hubs. * Works closely with all Senior Managers. V. Hub Captains A. The Hub Captains report to a Regional Director and are responsible for: * Manage all daily operations of their hub. * Maintain their Hub page. * Ensure that all available flights for their hub are made. * Manage fuel stock levels and incentive budgets for their hub. * Trains all hub employees. VI. Assistant Hub Captain (pay grade: Senior Master Pilot) A. The Assistant Hub Captain reports to the Hub Captain and is responsible for: * Serve as the acting Hub Captain in the absence of the HC. * Assist in training hub employees. * Act as a mentor to junior employees. * Fly routes. VII. Pilots (pay grades: Pilot Junior Grade through Senior Master Pilot) A. All pilots report to the Hub Captain at their assigned hub. The sole responsibility of all Pilots is to fly Texas Air Cargo's routes and earn money. Back Home |
