These were known as Klaatus, but somehow or other EU sources turned this aliens into a variant of the Nikto species. Specifically, Kadas'sa'Nikto. I don't particularly mind because both "Niktos" and "Klaatus" are cool looking bad-asses. This is one species I wish was more prominent in the movies.
