Fresh out of the Academy, Second Lieutenant Maxwell Reese is young and cocksure, excited about his first appointments in space. Warm and outgoing, with a sense of wonder about being "out there" in deep space.
Maxwell Reese was born in late 2007, after the end of the last Decepticon attack and the Autobots' departure from Earth. Fascinated with the exploration of space from an early age, he enrolled in the Air Force's EDC training program, over the protests of his parents, who feared a repeat of the 2007 decimation of the EDC. Born after the Transformers era, Reese never felt the palpable fear of a concentrated Decepticon invasion the way his parents' generation had once. In the EDC training program, Reese soon discovered his natural aptitude as a fighter pilot. Upon graduation, he was stationed at the EDC space station in the Devoron System.
