The struggles on this road called life
Are sometimes hard to bear.
The badge of courage we are asked to put on
Is sometimes hard to wear.
The silent tears that no one sees
The cries that no one hears.
Only the heart that know such pain
Can say"this too shall pass with years."
So we carry the light we are given
Measured grace from God alone.
One candle that shines into the night
Till God calls His children home.
