USE ME LORD

                   Show me how to use your word, to guide them on their way.

                   Help me Lord to understand just what they're going through.

                    For once I traveled down that road before I ever met you.

                Lord I pray, day by day, give me the words you'd have me say.

               Help me Lord to just be there to let them know how much I care.

              For all of the burdens in our lives, you said that we should share.

                 Help me Lord to lead a hand, help me be a friend to man.

             Help me travel with him down the road to lighten a bit of His load.

           Help me show Him that you really care and that you'll always be there.

              Lord I pray, day by day, give me the words you'd have me say.

                 Sometimes we get so busy, we forget our friends in need.

              When all that it would really take is one kind generous deed.

          Just a smile would really do, they'd see the love of God through you.
