Hyderabad was founded on the River Musi five miles east of Golconda, in 1591-92
by Mohammed Quli Qutub Shah.  Also called as Bhagyanagar, this city is noted for
its ancient civilization and culture

This 400 year old city has many places worth seeing like Charminar, Golconda
Fort,  Qutubshahi Tombs, Birla Mandir, Mecca Masjid, Falaknuma Palace,
Tankbund - Hussainsagar, Shilparamam along with the new constructions like
HITEC city, Ramoji Film City, HITEX, ISB, IIIT, IMAX blah blah blah.

Hyderabad is also famous for foods items like Hyderabadi biryani, kebabs along
with delicious andhra foods. Irani chai, haleem here are equally famous.

I have a memorable association with Hyderabad since my childhood. I can
never forget the days i spent with my friends, whether it is eating chicken biryani in
bawarchi or having laccha(discussions) sessions at necklace road or visiting
places like gandipet etc.
