PAY YOUR OWN WAY-EXPEDITION COST INFORMATION SHEET

In case you skipped the pages where we describe our expeditions I will fill you in on the way we operate. We are expedition organizers. You can join us or assemble your friends and we will organize an expedition together.

Below are the approximate costs per person. Everyone must be responsible to pay their own way as expenses occur. When you stay in a hotel you pay the desk clerk, at a restaurant the waiter, at the gas pumps the attendant and so forth. We arrange organize and translate. To calculate the cost use $60.00 as the average cost per day or come up with a closer estimate using the list below. Then multiply by the number of days you will be participating, remember that you will have days spent in transit. Then just add the airfares. Realistically, this is an approximate cost and the actual cost may be more due to unforeseen purchases, or cheaper if you are thrifty. Remember to bring enough travelers checks to cover your spending and drinking habits.

TWO WEEK EXAMPLE - At $60.00 per day times 10 days actually driving = 600. Four more days in transit and preparation, non-driving time. = 150. Airfares = 1000. For a two-week motorcycle expedition $1,750.US Per person * The Motorcycle will cost less per person if riding double. * A jeep expedition can cost less per person because up to four people can share the cost of a vehicle.
