Adventures in Arcadayn
The Fey Isles
By Tim Emrick

The Fey Isles are a group of islands to the north and west of the Haldinibar peninsula. There are four major islands: Lomwen (the westernmost island), Gemmet (nearest the mainland), Ilusolmar (just north of Gemmet) and Elwenmar (the northernmost island).

Much as in Haldinibar, the Fey Islands are divided into petty kingdoms, each formed by a city-state and the land it controls. However, these domains bear no allegiance to any greater power, and are ruled by full-blooded sidhe, unlike the human and semi-human rulers of Haldinibar.

Lomwen is the domain of the Lunanti (a Tuatha court), and is ruled from the city of Luntamar.

Gemmet is ruled by the Danani (a Tuatha court) from their capital of Dantlurig. Harpies infest the sparsely inhabited northern shores.

Ilusolmar has no Seelie court, and few "noble" sidhe live here. Marool and perytons inhabit the island.

Elwenmar is the closest to Faerie of all the lands of Arcadayn, and thus is a dangerous place for non-sidhe to visit. The city of Numfalasmas is the home of the Tomasi, a powerful Tuatha court respected throughout Haldinibar and the western isles.

Fomors (sea giants) dwell in the Ocean of Darkness to the west, and war with the Seelie courts of these islands. Selkies are known to inhabit the Dusklark Sea (the body of water between Lomwen, Gemmet and the mainland).
