STATUS: Face. Tag team partners with Beckie the Farmer's Daughter ("The Country Connection"). Her struggling ranch was purchased by the Disciplinarian.
WRESTLING: Billie hasn't done much in the ring. Her finisher is a bulldog. Not a good sign. In her tag team matches, her role almost always is to come in and get killed, so that Beckie can do something nifty and save her. A lot of the WOW girls just go through their moves very, very slowly. Billie is one of the leaders in this category.
CHARACTER: Billie has not been good at all in her brief time on the mic. Maybe I'm wrong, but I find it hard to believe she's from Texas. To be fair, her lines have been hopelessly corny ("I'm gonna deputize all the children across the nation.") But she hasn't done them any favors, either. She just doesn't seem "into it" at all. Sometimes she lassoes people. That looks desultory too.
LOOKS: Billie is very good-looking, in that Catherine Bach kinda way. She is made considerably less atttractive by the fact that she always looks so nervous and uncomfortable. So much of sexiness is confidence, and she doesn't project that.
COMMENTS: So far, Billie hasn't done much besides look good standing there and get carried by Beckie once she gets in the ring. The writers probably need to sit down with her and get her a gimmick that more closely matches her personality. This Bronco thing isn't a great gimmick in the first place, and when you're as uncomfortable with it as Billie seems to be, it definitely isn't gonna work.
UPDATES:
2/4/2000 (PPV):
- It seemed like they had forgotten about the "ranch" angle, but they
resurrected it at the PPV, and Disciplinarian bought Billie's ranch. I doubt
that this angle will do Billie any favors, since Ms. D has a lot more charisma
than Billie does.
