STATUS: Face. Tag team partners with Bronco Billie ("The Country Connection"). Was feuding with Jungle Grrrl over who has the best splash. Jungle Grrrl won the "splash" match with a plunge off a 15-foot ladder, and that seems to have ended that feud.
WRESTLING: Beckie does not spend too much time with her feet on the floor in any given match. She is constantly bouncing off the ropes, and her finisher is a really nice 450 splash off the top rope. She gives a ton of energy, which is especially obvious when contrasted to her lethargic tag team partner, Bronco Billie. She is definitely one of WOW's top ring workers. Her most ridiculous move is the "Farmer's Roll". It involves Beckie, on the floor with her opponent, basically leglocking the opponent and dragging her in a slow circle. A very slow circle. Lee Marshall usually sanctimoniously informs us that "she's trying to disorient her opponent". Ummm...no.
CHARACTER: The Farmer's Daughter gimmick should theoretically be stupid, but thankfully, they don't dwell on it much. All they do is give her a corny entrance video and music, and sometimes they have her enter the ring with some hillbilly looking people who are supposed to be her relatives. It's stupid, but it only adds up to about half a minute of stupidity.
Beckie's mic work has not been good. She seems very tentative when she speaks, plus they always seem to be interviewing her when she's out of breath after a match ... I can't tell whether this is somehow supposed to be in character, or not ... I'm thinking it's legit. Regardless, she has gotten over as a face anyway because of her wrestling talent and her smiling, fan-friendly attitude.
LOOKS: To me, Riot is the sexiest woman in WOW, but Beckie is the best-looking. She looks like Britney Spears without the screwed-up face. In those corny clothes, it's easy to underrate her. But she is a total hottie.
COMMENTS: Beckie definitely should be, and probably will be, one of the top faces in WOW. The fans love her, she is an exciting wrestler, and she's good-looking. All she needs to do is develop some sort of personality beyond "farmer's daughter" to work with, and bring it to life on the mic. I don't think the "best splash" angle was particularly brilliant. Jungle Grrrl's is clearly better, and a splash, to me, is not a terribly exciting move anyway. But it set up a great match with the Grrrl, so hopefully the wrestling can propel Beckie even if the storyline is a little lacking.
