Boom Boom the Volcano

STATUS: Face. Tag team partners with Caliente.

WRESTLING: As you would expect from the name, the Volcano is not a high flyer. She takes decent bumps, and I suppose that if you wanted to make the point that one of the big wrestlers can beat an equally big one, it would make more sense to use Boom Boom as the victim than, say, the Asian Invasion. She usually only gets in a couple of offensive moves per contest. She has one move that is blatantly designed to give the cameraman a good shot of her cleavage. When her opponent is on the turnbuckle, she will just jump on her with arms outstretched. I'm sure this "Booby Slap" is devastatingly painful to opponents.

CHARACTER: Boom Boom hasn't shown much of this. All that we know about her is that she seems nice and smiley. And she usually loses, which in WOW tends to mean you're a face. Her entrance song is ridiculous, and they make her wear, as Xenophobe put it, "that stupid grass skirt no one likes."

LOOKS: Boom Boom is both voluptuous and kinda cute. That said, she's not my type. They have her in a too-small top that continually threatens to -- and on one notorious occasion, did -- lose its cargo. But it doesn't do that much for me.

COMMENTS: I am really not sure what the point of this character is. WOW has both a Hawaiian girl (Boom Boom) and a generic "tropical" girl (Paradise). Neither one has been on the mic as far as I know, and they hardly ever win matches either. Do they really need either one of them, much less both of them?
