This is the second book written by John Larkin. Ba-ba-buuuuum! Most 'parently the second book is the hardest to write-- the second anything is the most difficult, isn't it? But unlike Franz Ferdinand's second album, you know what, Ghost Byte is pretty good. It's kinda like a taste of what's to come in John's later books, methinks, what with the 'strange demonic presences' and all (What is a 'normal demonic presence'?) which get another go in Growing Payne, Cyber Payne, and Deja vu.
