Hi, I've read your article on the cult
Ang Dating Daan sent to me by a sister in Christ in Manila. I'd
like to personally say thank you for exposing Mr. Soriano for what he
is, a False prophet! I've always had my doubts on the man. I
have a loved one in Manila who is so impressed by Mr. Sorioano's
knowledge of the scriptures. Little does he know that the man he
listens to on television is spreading false doctrines and is twisting
the word of God. My loved one and I do not see eye to eye that it is
strictly by God's Grace alone through faith in Jesus Christ by which
man can be saved (no works, no church membership and no baptism,
etc.. can save man), and that Christ is eternally divine and
eternally equal to the Father. After reading your piece, now I
know why he doesn't agree with me. I hope that Christians in the
Philippines through God's help will expose this man and have his
cultic show cancelled ASAP. Let's ask God to get this man off the air
for the sake of the many mislead Filipinos, and for the many Filipinos
who are sincerely seeking for the true Jesus Christ of the Bible. We
cannot allow Mr. Soriano to go on spewing false doctrines and we
certainly cannot allow him to go on twisting the scriptures. Keep up
the good work. May the Lord bless you and your ministry.

Our Phone Conversation
Dear Bro. "Justyn",
As per our phone conversation, I would
like to commit as a contributor of The Bereans.
As I've said, part of enlarging one's
territory (1 Chronicles 4:9-10) is strategic partnerships. In view of
my schedule, my son's therapy and my involvement with WorldTeach, I
know I have to reprioritize.
So instead of having an
independent--though complementary--website, I am hereby offering the
articles in my Bible Exposé website to The Bereans for possible
inclusion in your website. I will be phasing out my website to give
way to your website. I believe it is not inconsistent with my vision
since I will still be focusing on homegrown cults in my write-ups. But
I can't focus on maintaining my website due to time constraints. So I
have to make this decision in order that the vision of reaching out to
the members of homegrown cults and equipping Christians to "give
an answer for the hope" (1 Pet. 3:15) would still be
pursued.
Thank you for your positive response. I

ko si .... at siguro siya ang nagbigay ng celno ko sa iyo. Hindi kami
nagkaroon ng pagkakataon na magkita sa Pinas kaya't hanggang sa
telepono lang kami nagkausap. Dapat sana ay aattend ako sa isang
seminar sa Baguio pero hindi na ako nakapunta dahil sa problema sa
sasakyan.
Maganda ang mga nakalagay sa website ng
bereans. Sa totoo lang, 1979 pa lang nakikinig na ako kay soriano pero
hanggang ngayon hindi pa ako kumbinsido na 100% ng tinuturo niya ay
totoo. May mga tumatama at may mga lumulihis. May mukhang tama at may
nakakagimbal. Alam mo bang mas mabigat ang mga turo nila kapag member
ka na?
Eto ang ilan sa mga nalaman ko sa
kanila:
1. Bawal ang makikain kung may handaan
at ikaw ay sinama lang ng inimbitahan.
2. Bawal din na kumain kung ang mga
pagkain ay pinag-pray ng ibang sekta.
3. Bawal ang pagkain ng mga lamang kati
na pinatay sa paraang Islam na tinatawag ng "Halal".
4. May mga fastfood chain na gumagawa
nito tulad ng greenwich at yung lahok na karne sa spaghetti ng
jollibee. Kasama din ang argentina, etc.
5. Bawal paputulan kahit na konti ang
buhok ng kababaihan.
6. Pati yata pagkain ng ginatan ay
bawal (ayon sa isang reliable source).
Nakikita ko na maganda ang hangarin mo
pero sana mas maganda kung paghandaan nyo na kausapin siya ng personal
para mawala ang "yabang" niya. Alam kong mahirap gawin yan
dahil bihasa sa debate yon. May tape akong napanood na ang nakalaban
niya ay isang Katoliko na member ng St.Peter's ... Napansin ko doon na
kapag ang boses ng kalaban niya ay malakas at matapang ay parang hindi
gaanong napahiya sa laban kay Soriano. Infact may nakita akong punto
doon na nakaisa ang kalaban ni soriano sa kanya.
Dapat
din na malaman nyo na maraming nakatagong "baon" sa debate
si Soriano. Isa sa mga style niya yung pagnagkamali ka sa mga verse
na sinasabi ng kalaban niya doon sila nadidiin. Kaya kung maingat
ang magiging kalaban niya ay posibleng siya ang mapahiya.

Hello,
Hey! sorry if it took me so long to
answer back.
I was really amazed by your vision
about witches and wiccan religion.
In my opinion witches are group of
persons believed to have magic powers, it is also true that the craft
does attract a few "bad seeds". That's why it is a big
dilemma for a person to louse up with them. But it doesn't necessarily
mean that they are using their powers to harm or hurt hapless
people.
Most witches abide by the "HARM
NONE" rule. Also, most witches have some kind of "RULE OF
THREE" that they believe in.
For me it is due to prejudices that the
word "witch" holds on ominous meaning for most people in
societies today.
Lastly, thanks for giving me a quick
look about the wiccan religion.

not omnipresent. tsaka kung maka- Acts 17:11 kayo, di dapat Church
kayo at hindi "ministry". i'm an open-minded person, kung
mali ako, i will accept it pero kung mali kayo, sana ma-accept nyo rin...
hindi ako galit, ha?

finally!! i haven't seen all of it. i just browsed through, but i can
say that it's wonderful! i'm very happy to see it.... i would still
love to be part of the Bereans in whatever ways i can. you have done a
major part in equipping me as well, and i would like to say thanks so
much! i have a oneness (united pentecostal church) friend and we're
getting along quite well for starters, and i am lifting her up to the
Lord in prayer, that He would pave a way for me to lead her to the
Christ of the Bible, and grant me wisdom, and timing as well, and love
that comes from the Father. pls. include that in your prayer items.

If
winning a debate means being in the truth the i disagree with our
friend from ang dating daan. Ang sabi kasi nang biblia you shall know
them by their fruits. Ang alam ko kasing fruits nang Holy Spirit is
love,joy,peace,longsuffering, meekness..at least to name a few.
Masyadong pala-away si Mr. Eli Soriano. I just can't imagine him to be
a servant of God. Jesus Christ came here full of "Grace" and
truth.

This is my first time to
hear Berean Ministry. What is this sect? Why there are lots bad
comments against Ang Dating Daan? I can't seen any wrong about Brother
Eli. This is his style and everyone of us has individual diffrences.
To be frank and open is a good sign to enlighten many stubborn
Filipinos. I don't find Br. Eli childish the way he debate instead I

Hi,
I would like to know if I can get copies of some of your tracts for distribution in Southern California.
As you know, Hawaii and California have the highest number of INC members outside of the
Phillipines. I
