the plot: Electro and Delilah attack an armored car, which Electro destroys to demonstrate his power. This doesn't sit well with his boss, the Rose, who wants Electro to stick to their plans. Peter Parker meanwhile, runs into problems with keeping his Spider-suit hidden and having to miss class to deal with Electro. The Rose begins to realize that Electro is a loose cannon though, and makes other arrangements. Spidey gets help to deal with Electro from his new friend Nate Grey (whom he met in issue #420) and creates an insulated suit to wear. An epic battle occurs between Spidey, Electro and Nate, ending with Electro's apparent demise. Meanwhile, the Rose's goons take a coffin from a grave for the Rose's plans, a grave that belongs to none other than the late Dr. Otto Octavius!
