Amazing Spider-Man #406 synopsis

the plot: Peter Parker goes webslinging while Mary Jane and their unborn child rest at home. The Scarlet Spider and his good friend Seward Trainer have more serious matters to deal with, when Seward's vengeful daughter Carolyn attacks, having assumed the mantle of the late Dr. Octopus. The Scarlet Spider manages to save Seward from Carolyn's grasp and they get away, though Dr. Octopus is in hot pursuit. Spidey catches up with them but is trapped by Doc Ock, who threatens to break his neck if Scarlet doesn't present Seward to her. With some quick thinking, Ben uses some impact webbing on Carolyn and she lets go of Peter. Scarlet slings down to save him from falling, and Ock gets away, and Spidey has a lot to think about now.
