The
Beck Line is a fictional route, brought to you by many of us in the
Train Sim Developer Community, including Alex Farlie, David
McCormick and Myself (James Roberts). The idea for the Beck
Line is based around a fictional route I created when The London
Tube was young, based on a route from Holborn, via Aldwych to
Elephant and Castle. Today, the Beck Line has changed so much
that you would never guess, and Alex is now in charge of the coding,
but the Beck is a shining example of what an amazing work someone
can produce if the time and effort is put in. Even though it
is fictional, if London Underground decided to build the route
tomorrow, we would have given them a fantastic starting block, and
most of the information is factual and accurate. The picture
shows 202 Tube Stock, used by Infraco KTP on the Beck Line, and also
in Beck line colours. The destination board reads
'Holborn'. Phase Two of the route is due out shortly, however,
at present, Phase One can be downloaded and driven. See below
for more details.
