El-Hussaq Mobilizes

EAST EL-HUSSAQ - At 1:02PM today, President El Cid II of East El-Hussaq made a rare address on a leading local television station - Channel 4. In his statement, El Cid II stated that all military resources were to be mobilized for the reunification of West El-Hussaq.

The news was quickly picked up by news channels from around the globe. Latest reports indicate that the East El-Hussaqi military has indeed mobilized (within Riksholmic limitations) and is awaiting orders for further action. As a precautionary measure, the Prime Chancellor of Marcusburg has sent 100,000 troops into West El-Hussaq for the protection of citizens there. The Prime Chancellor has also condemned the El-Hussaqi mobilization and called for dialogue to resolve the crisis.

The Prime Chancellor's move was met by 15,000 Gorditan troops also moving into West El-Hussaq at 6:50PM. Coincidentally, El Cid II released another statement explaining the mobilization. After brisk negotiations between the Prime Chancellor and President El Cid II, East El-Hussaq issued a demobilization order and an apology.

He also invited the GX nations to attend a summit in East El-Hussaq. Although Marcusburg has expressed interest, Gorditas and Lindsholm have yet to respond.

El Cid II claims that a poll in West El-Hussaq shows that the majority of citizens there want reunification. However, in the Congress of Wilhelmplatz, which just ended, the international community decided against endorsing reunification at the time.
