Ichiben Annexes Zimbabmei
Demoralized and facing bankruptcy, Herwan gave Ichiben permission to annex the majority of Zimbabmei at midnight on October 20, 2005.

Still reeling from a disastrous defeat in the Jeeto-Zimbabmei War and from knowledge that for almost half a year their country was ruled by a Herwanese puppet regime, the people of Zimbabmei now face yet another shocker.

The Herwanese administration in Zimbabmei has given Ichiben the go-ahead to annex the country. The regime argues that the arrangement is a win-win situation as not only Ichiben benefits but money from Ichibeni government coffers would allow Zimbabmei to escape bankruptcy.

After reputedly extensive conversations with the former Zimbabnese leader, the Pharaoh, it was agreed that Zimbabmei would not be wiped off the Mapp. Accordingly, Zimbabmei retains its Pennatus province and its economy starts anew as Ichiben absorbs all debt.

Reaction to these developments in Ichiben and Zimbabmei is mostly muted. As Ichibenis carry on with their trademark stoicism, apathy prevails in Zimbabmei where the average person on the street feels powerless to shape their own fate in light of their country's - very real - existential crisis.
