Neutral Chao Recipes

Once a Chao has hatched you can then give it animals to transform it. The way it transforms depends on what animals you give to your Chao. You can not give your Chao 2 kinds of animals. So if you give your Chao green animals and then only give it purple animals it will turn into a purple jester Chao. You have to give it animals from both hero and dark characters equally for it to stay neutral. Once it evolves it will turn into one of the Chao below.

After your Chao has had its mating season it will begin its second evolution. The second evolution is a gradual change in your Chao, it will not go into a cacoon like the first one. At this point you can give it more animals to transform your Chao. You can also mix the animals your Chao recieved. So giving a green spike chao purple animals at this time will transform it into an elf chao. For more information on the Second Evolution look up Second Evolutions on the Raising Chao page.

Green Gulpo Chao
Animals: Yellow + Yellow

Larger version of the alien Chao. It's "ears" become very long and when it's complete its looks more darker.

Monster Chao
Animals: Yellow + Purple

Most of its body is dark green. It's feet turn red and the horn on its head curls upward.

Dino Chao
Animals: Yellow + Green

When it is complete its entire body is dark green. Its horn on the back of its head disappears and its ears shorten and curl upwards

Sumo Chao
Animals: Yellow + Red

This Chao is HUGE!!! Once it is complete its stomach is bigger than a nut!

Armor Chao
Animals: Purple + Yellow

This Chao is very weird. It's body is pink and its wings become thin and yellow. There is some webbing on the bottom of its horns. The reason it was giving this name is the spikes coming out of its cheeks. I guess they're sorta used as armor.

NiGHTS Chao
Animals: Purple + Purple

When it is complete it will look like NiGHTS from Sonic Team's sega saturn game NiGHTS into Dreams.

Ram Chao
Animals: Purple + Green

This Chao's body turns pink and its horns curl up inward. Looks like a ram when it is complete.

Scorpion Chao
Animals: Purple + Red

Another weird Chao. The horns go straight upward and then curl to the front a little. Its body is dark pink.

Life-Form Chao
Animals: Green + Yellow

This Chao reminds me of Chaos from SA1 for some reason. The 3 horns on the back of its head are attached to each other and when it is complete it is dark blue.

Elf Chao
Animals: Green + Purple

The 3 horns on its back curl upward and its body is completly purple. When it is complete it will also have feet that resemble an elf's shoe.

Sonic Chao
Animals: Green + Green

When its complete it will look like everyones favorite hedgehog.

Boxing Chao
Animals: Green + Red

The tips of this Chao's hands looks sorta like boxing gloves. The horns curl upward and it is almost all purple with blue stripes on its horns.

Hydralisk Chao
Animals: Red + Yellow

Its body turns bright red and a big horn grows on the back of its head. 2 small horns grow from its cheeks.

Volcano Chao
Animals: Red + Purple

Bright red with 2 giant horns grow on the back of its head. 2 thin horns grow on the sides of its head.

Demon/Satan Chao
Animals: Red + Green

Bright orange with 2 horns on the back of its head. One goes downward and the other goes upward

Dragon Chao
Animals: Red + Red

Bright red with 4 horns on the back of its head. The first giant 3 horns sorta resemble the ones from the life-form Chao and the 4th one is thin and sorta hard to see. Also has 3 other small horns on its back. I think the recipe for this Chao was ment to be green + red.
