Cleanup of Night One

As for treasure there was very little, you were able to sell the various weapons and armour left behind by the deceased occupants for 30 gp and found some more coin in Krusk's chambers totally 20 gp.

The only really interesting things you found, was a poor woman kept as a slave in the mess hall (it was the other door off the Sparring Hall), and with her were some now dead orcs and three stones under a pot. Upon freeing the woman she thanks you heartily and asks for an escort to the nearest human settlement. Before you take her though you ask her how the Orcs were able to cook without a fire (actually you were all more concerned about what in the world Orcs were doing cooking as Hal pointed out they usually ate everything raw or where they found it), she tells you that the stones under the pot were somehow magical and when the command word "Flamba" was spoken they would warm up to being nearly as hot as fresh coals from a normal fire.

Saying the command word again makes them turn off and eventually cool back down to room temperature. Each stone is the size of a large mans fist (weight each 2 stone) and weighs about the same as a stone of that size. The whole party agrees that these would be most useful when they travel and don't wish to be spotted by having a smoking fire or just not having to gather for and tend a fire. (GM Note - The stones used together to heat something will bring to the boil a large camp oven (if you don't know what a camp oven is, it is a large cast iron pot with a heavy lid and it is about 1.5 ft in diameter and about 8 inches deep) the stones are too hot to touch when in use unless the person has sufficent protection (heavy leather glove).)
