As We Have Included The Construction Of The Tower Of Babel In Our List Of Amazing Pastimes, We Feel Obliged To Give A Short Explanation Of This Phrase. It Is A Biblical Term, And The Tower Of Babel Is A Tower Intended To Reach From Earth To Heaven. Unfortunately, During Construction Jehovah Confused The Language Of The Builders (Think Trying To Get A Group Of Monolingual Russians To Put Up Your Gazebo, But On A Bigger Scale), And Thus It Was Never Completed (Although, Being As How A Tower Stretching From Earth To Heaven Should Take All Of Eternity To Build, We Decided That A Two Thousand Odd Year Gap Wouldn't Make A Lot Of Difference).
