First Phone Call

On Friday, June 21, Dennis got home early because he only worked for 5 hours on Thursday night. We met and talked again on the computer as usual while I am still working in my office. Then he suddenly asked for my phone number and said that he wanted to call me and hear my voice on the phone.

I felt a little bit worried since I only knew this guy for one week and I also heard some scary ugly stories about people meeting on the net then end up with something bad after they started to talk or meet in real life. Dennis really sounded so nice and polite, but I felt that I still needed to take more cautions on him. So I gave him my office phone number. He said he would try it right away. He was so eager to hear my voice directly !

"Hello, it's Dennis" ... that was his first words on the phone and I replied "Hi, it's me". The next thing that we heard were "qz^^%#&*@xxF ??" and "??^&^*#$*&@!!" ... LOL!! We were really too excited to talk directly and hear each other voice so that we could not understand English ! Well, Dennis has a perfect American English of course, while I also can speak English quite well since I use it everyday in office... but we were just so nervous that it was hard to understand each other... LOLOL !!

We talked again on the computer after we hung up, and Dennis said I had a very sweet voice. He asked me if his voice sounded creepy ... and I said 'no of course not!'. This first phone call continued to another one the next couple of days and another one and another one. We started to trust each other and we gave our personal home phone. I also gave him my cell phone so he could call me anytime he wanted. We kept talking on the net every day, sometimes it can be up to 6 hours (!!!) and we seemed to never running out of topics. We shared almost everything, even our personal matters. We gave each other advices and spirit. Dennis told me about his life, his families, even his ex-girlfriends. I told him about my families and everything about my life.

After a while, Dennis said that he loved me and he would not hesitate to marry me tomorrow! I was so surprised and embarrassed at the same time (I was so shy at that time :) I just said that he was crazy but without realizing it, I have already fell in love with the most wonderful man I have ever met...
