In Minnesota winter starts on November, usually around Halloween, and it ends on March. The temperature begins to drop by mid October, and it can go down below 0^o Celcius within this month. It will start to snow on November and there will be no greeneries no more. All the leaves are gone and the regular trees will only have twigs and barks.

Sometimes there is blizzard during winter time in Minnesota. It also happens on other northern part of US. Blizzard is a heavy snow storm with heavy winds. It is dangerous to be outside during this time, even if you are in cars, because the heavy snows can bury and freeze people in it. Dennis loves blizzard though, he will just stay at home and make hot meals and keep himself warm.

I haven't seen snow my whole life since I live in equator and haven't got the chance to visit my husband's hometown. I am sure it will be fun and I will enjoy making snowman too ! But I am not sure if I can stand the cold .... brrrrrr !!!
