For over sixty years, The REP has been a   major contributor to theatre in Doncaster.
Originally formed in 1936 by the College as a drama course, it later became a separate company under the title, The College Repertory Players.
The company maintained strong links with the drama department at the College and has done so throughout the years.  Many students have joined the company to acquire extra production skills and members have gone on to study drama at a higher level.
In the 1970s the company shortened it's name to The REP.  In December 2001 it became a registered charity.
