English Premier League This week, most games were drawn. 1-1, 0-0 were familiar score lines today, proving that this year's Premier League is one of the closest yet. Manchester United once again were beaten by rivals Arsenal, with the champion's defence falling apart, first with Gary Neville's bad pass, then with the clearance from French goalie Barthez to the Arsenal French international Henry (is it just me or is something going on?) 3-1. Leeds entertained Aston Villa. Leeds opened the scoring through Alan Smith, assisted by Robbie Keane who caught Peter Schmeichel off his line. Smith was later sent off, and that's when Aston Villa equalised to share the spoils. 1-1 Liverpool remained on top with a solid performance against Sunderland.
