Walter Gropius: In 1919, Walter Gropius was approached by the Bauhaus to take up the post as first director of the new arts and crafts school. He accepted this offer and went on to be one of the most influential staff members of the Bauhaus. Johannes Itten: After doing a talk at the Bauhaus, Walter Gropius invited Johannes to join the Bauhaus as a teacher. During his time at the Bauhaus, Johannes taught various different workshops. Wassily Kandinsky: Kandinsky was not only well known from his time at the Bauhaus but also for many of the paintings he produced. Paul Klee: It was in 1921 that Paul Klee joined the Bauhaus. During his time there he was a highly respected artist and dominant personality. His design teaching was also very influential to the young apprentices in his workshops. |
