Chapter 2: The Tea Leaf. grrr…).ther — grrr… Harry went down to breakfast the next day, where he buttered a bagel with honey. "Hmm," he said, "out of tea bags. Oh, well." And he looked for a packet of tea leaves. When he finished his tea, he had an idea. Swirling the dregs (remains) around 3 times with his left hand, and putting it onto his saucer. Only 2 symbols were in the cup. The first one, a skull, meant something unpleasant happening. The second symbol looked like a dragon. Harry racked his brain, trying to remember what a dragon meant. He could recall that it meant ‘a surprise,’ but what if it didn’t? "Your honey is dripping all over the table," the other side of his mind was saying. "All right, all right." Harry started on his bagel and read the letter from Hogwarts.
The note told him to take the Hogwarts express at the King’s Cross Station, 11:00, at platform Nine and Three-Quarters. He also looked at the list of books for the following year, which started on September 1.

"Goody," said Harry, after reading the list. "I wonder what Draco Malfoy would say." Draco Malfoy was practically Harry’s worst enemy, besides Voldemort and before Professor Snape, who was Harry’s least favorite teacher, by far. And Harry was Snape’s least favorite student, by far.
